*I put these two together because the information was the same for both episodes.* Also the reason for back-back eps is the following Mon Miami's not on due to basketball playoffs. Yay!! Yelinas back. Hopefully these will be as exciting as the previews we saw. lol

You know... I'm wondering how Julia knows about Brazil..... As we found out she's a con artist and she was only married to the Winston for about 2 months..... Could she have known the Mala Noche.....? Is she getting revenge for something more sinister than just wanting to keep Kyle away from H....?

Lucy, I was thinking the same thing.. perhaps it's not all her doing...hmmmm...is Ramon Cruz still around? Couldn't the two of them have teamed up to get to H??? It seems excessive of her to get him charged for murder 'just' to get her son. But I am sure she wouldn't be opposed...There is more behind all this than we think..I was wondering if Stetler couldn't be behind it...but ...I think not. He could have done it a long time ago... **SPOILERS**
A while ago there was a magazine article posted that had some interesting spoilers about these eps. For one thing, it said somebody was controlling Julia.
I saw a different preview on TV for these eps the other day and there was a brief interaction between Julia and H in which she asks for his help, and he agrees.
If someone is "pulling her strings," as the article said, I hope it's O'Shay. That's another storyline I'd like to see resolved.

Right, Dalet, I almost forgot about him. He looked like he was up to the task of giving Horatio a good run for his money and I thought the two actors played off each other really well.

So did I, Karen. He's someone Horatio can really sink his teeth into, so to speak. I'm sure he'll be back, I just wonder when. Introducing a whole new character for the purpose would be pushing it.

Definitely..... There are quite a few baddies floating around that could still cause problems for H.... Even that guy who tried to get at Kyle in prison... Le Brock....? H controls that situation at the moment because the guys son is a paedophile - but if H is out of the way....

About 10 more hours to the new episode. I think CBS was very smart to show this double-header on two consecutive nights. That way we don't have to wait a whole week to see what happens. The bad news, though, is we will not get a new episode next Monday night. The big NCAA playoffs are finally pre-empting "Miami." Bummer.

I hope so and hopes she beats the crap of her...Sorry didnt mean to go rambling like that... Hope at the end he does get his son back....Imagine Kyle and Ray Jr...hooking together...That should be interesting to see...

I hope all the drama surrounding these eps are gonna be worth it. Sharon

Here we go with Part 1 of a 2 part storyline. The story opens with teenage boys going for a joyride on a swampbuggy. For extra entertainment they throw "bombs" into the water to catch fish. But they catch more than fish --- they catch an arm as well.
Frank, Horatio and Alexx work the scene. H asks Alexx to be careful with the duct tape holding the victim, Kathleen Newberry, to the steering wheel as it might contain fingerprints. She is the one who disappeared during Kyle's trial. He got out from under the charge of kidnapping because she could not testify against him. H suspects Julia paid her off to disappear. Frank looks at the body and says "She could wind up anywhere." "Anywhere but here," says Horatio.
Calleigh and Eric arrive on the scene and Cal starts to take photos of the car while remarking about the curiosity of people who show up to see the horrible scene. Eric can't find the sunpass that lets vehicles pass through toll booths and Cal finds what appears to be some kind of "to do" list.
Meanwhile, back at the lab, Natalia and Alexx work the body and clothing. Alexx reveals Kathleen entered the water alive, struggled, and finally drowned. Her lungs were full of water. Natalia finds a long, blonde hair.
BIG NEWS: At last! Horatio is seen working in the lab, wearing a white lab coat and examining the duct tape. He is also wearing latex gloves. He lifts prints from the tape and find they belong to Julia. When she is brought in for questioning, H tells her she is in deep trouble. She says anyone could have used her tape and asks "Why can't you believe me?" Horatio replies "I haven't heard the truth yet."
Natalia and Eric examine the hair from the body and find it belongs to Julia's assistant, Pamela. Questioning her, she says Kathleen had her hair on her because they hugged each other before Kathleen's departure. "You're a suspect again," Natalia warns her.
When Calleigh starts to process the crime-scene photos of the car, she discovers they are blank. "Did you take the lens cap off?" asks Ryan. Of course she had and they learn the card was removed when Calleigh put the camera down. Someone is trying to sabotage the case. Ryan interviews Cal to get her to recall what she observed about the car. Examining the car together, they see the lock has been jimmied by something resembling fishing gear. This leads them back to the teenage boys who dived down to the car before authorities arrived and stole the cash. Cal and Ryan wonder if they stole the sunpass as well.
Now Horatio faces Kyle. It is not an easy conversation as Kyle blames his father for all of his mother's problems. "Why are you harrassing her?" he asks while walking out leaving H looking sad. (One wonders what could have happened here if H could just get his words out faster!)
The sunpass is located through toll booth cameras that photograph license plate tags. It is being used by a truck driver, Ted Wallace. Frank and Eric interview him and he says he just found it on the ground. Frank and Eric also examine a very dirty restroom nearby. They find blood and a rag which smells like it had chloroform on it. The blood leads them to Ron Saris, a big real-estate dealer. H interviews him who claims he cut his hand on the towel dispenser. H says the cut looks more like a bite and he was the one who subdued her, drove her to the everglades and dumped her and the car into the water.
Later, Yelina and Horatio meet. Yelina has info about Julia and Ron. They participated in a charity scam together 5 years previously. But that was not all. Yelina also reveals that Julia tried to hire her to find information about Marisol and tried to get her to talk about what happened in Rio.
Horatio talks to Julia again and asks about her connection to Ron. Julia asks a question of her own, showing him a picture of Riaz dead, and accusses H of murdering him. "This isn't going to work," H says. "Leave me alone," Julia replies and leaves.
Ryan and Valera find that equipment continues to be sabotaged back at the lab. This time it's a flash video player customised for them and it reveals things about Calleigh, including her home phone number. She goes to Cooper and accuses him. Her crime scene photos are on his website revealing that he is the one who is tampering with evidence. He says everything he is doing is not against the law.
H returns to the lab and once more can be found examining evidence in his lab coat and latex gloves. Using a flashlight, he finds a stain on Kathleen's shirt. It turns out to be diesel fuel. They haul truck driver, Ted Wallace, back in who says he uses that restroom and she could have picked it up if she came in contact with the floor. But after a determined stare from H, he reveals that he was paid to use the card. (Did I get this part right? I don't quite understand it.)
Horatio calls Julia and tells her to bring Ron Saris in but doesn't realize he is sitting right next to Julia and seems to have some hold over her. She says she can't. Ron roughs her up and she convinces him she is on his side by making a phone call and asking to speak to someone in authority. We next see her with Horatio who says he wants to help her. She tells him it's too late. H notices Stetler and goes to him. Rick really seems upset and warns Horatio that federal marshals are on their way to take him back to Rio to face charges for killing Riaz.
Calleigh assures Horatio that the whole lab supports him and will provide any help they can. Horatio, in turn, says for them to stay focused on the Newberry case. As agents start to cuff him, the head man says that is not necessary so Horatio enters their vehicle on his own.
The sabotage directed toward Calleigh is escalating and what is more, Calleigh goes missing. Eric goes after Cooper in a rage. He says if something happens to Calleigh, he will return to kill Cooper.
Next we are in Rio (photography is awesome) where Horatio faces the Chief of Police in his home. The chief is not about to arrest him for Riaz' death because a trial is not necessary. Putting a gun on a table for Horatio, the chief reminds him he has made many enemies. As Horatio starts to leave, he hears guns being thingyed. One fires.
Meanwhile, back in Miami, Calleigh lies bound and gagged on a floor.

Absolutely MORTIFIED, Karen. Ahhhh yes. The Lab coat... I didn't realize that I was squealing that loudly until my father came in the room to make sure I was okay. It was definitely one of the visual highlights of the episode for me. Rio did look beautiful. The cinematography was stunning, as usual, and I'm always impressed by how realistic they're able to make things look when the implement the green screen. (The last scene w/H and the police chief was shot in LA.) Fantastic episode indeed! No weak points that I could see. Looking forward to tomorrow night--just wish I didn't have to work... em
