Yeah loved that one liner...Mala Noche Justice meet Miami Justice....Couldn't believe that all of them tried to take pot shot at H that way... Now as to the Ray storyline...I figured that he will get him in the end, just the way he dealt with Walter Resden or Clavo Cruz...I admit I was annoyed by calculating Julia and whinny Kyle, but I'm sure there is going to be closure down the road...Calleigh storyline, that was very well done...(Cooper acquiring a conscience!) Loved the scene at the end when Eric, Ryan and Tripp had the gun drawn...while the baddie held Calleigh at gunpoint... I was screaming watched your back...because...knew that H would somehow appear that way... As to Yelina, it was short and sweet...but I'm not so surprised since she's part of another series called the Border (seen in Canada) : www.imdb.com/title/tt0896527/I admit I havent seen it...bad me... Cant wait for the next eppys...At least I'm hoping there will be more.... Dina

It was really nice to see Horatio in the lab again in both these epis- think that maybe our complaining was heard?? These 2 were MUCH better than the first episode, though the Brazil thing seemed a bit too farfetched and the potential to come back again. Personally my feeling was that Julia has always known H was a cop- may have even been told to keep an eye on him- she sure expected him it that first epi. As for Kyle, she comes back for him just when H is getting to help him?? Hmmmmm. I did read in the TV guide that they promise another 7 epsiodes and that the 3 that they will be short for this year they will somehow make up for next year- out of Miss Mendleson's mouth guys! @ Marianne: It must have been a magical gun with a never ending supply of ammo and perhaps that dark suit has been treated with Bullet Repellent Spray! Karen You just may be right about that Karen. He sure did look good though. Marianne

I don't know why everyone thinks that H has a 'magical gun with a never ending supply of ammo'! I just watched the opening scene again and he only fired NINE TIMES! NINE. 9. That leaves at least 3 (if not 4, if there was one in the chamber to start with) bullets left over. Just wanted to clarify. em

And to be correct he had between 5 to 10 bullets left. ... Well, seems to be the time to prove my 'bullet-girl'-status again... *hihihi* ;D I don't know which weapon he used in the current ep, but Horatio used to use the GLOCK 17 and the SIG Sauer P 255 as well. Especially the last one is used by the police and special forces. While the SIG Sauer is able to carry 15 bullets in two rows, the GLOCK has much more firepower and therefore a magazine carrying between 17 to 19 bullets (and this is the standard magazine!). So, if Horatio managed to shoot down 9 guys one after another, he really could stay calm, because he still had rounds for several other bada***s left in his magazine. ;D Hope these information helps...

Hey, Sundancer! Thanks for the info...Remember, though, the Brazilian Police Chief didn't give H his own gun back. (Stetler still had H's gun and Badge) He gave him a different one, though I don't know what type. So I'm not sure how many rounds it could hold--that's why I was guessing on the low side. But I am glad to know that you agree! Our H doesn't have a magic gun, but he is magical WITH a gun... em

You're welcome! There's nearly none automatical pistol in caliber 9mm, which has less than 12 to 15 rounds to shoot. It depends on the order of the bullets in the magazine how much can be carried. Most of the weapons used by police or special forces rely on pistols with a big firepower resp. magazine. That's the reason why there are only few units left which use revolvers (max. 6 to 7 bullets to shoot) instead of pistols. If Horatio got a pistol built in Brazil it could be the TAURUS PT 99 AF, a rebuilt of a Beretta (formerly Italy) produced by Taurus in Brazil. The firepower of 15 bullets in a one-row-magazine would provide just the same safety like a GLOCK or SIG Sauer.

Very cool! Well, that's why I explained that if he had gotten off 9 rounds, he would have had at least 3 (12 rounds total) or 4 (13 total) left. 15 would have been great! I wonder what he did with that gun after he got back to the states...Added it to his collection?
And I loved the line when he met Eric and the Airport. Eric: You made it. H: Yeah, but a lot of people didn't.
HAHAHA!

*hihihihi* Would be nice to think about a "collection" on the wall of his living-room, but I don't think he would manage to get the pistol through the security-gates of any airport, neither in Brazil and nor in the U.S.. The pistol looks like made out of polymeric materials or plastic, but there are still parts of the frame made out of steel. No way to get it through the gates! I'm glad that Horatio found back to his famous one-liners again!

Hmmm...Perhaps, but it didn't seem that H flew into a regular terminal at an airport. He didn't seem to go through customs or security gates, either. But I agree. I doubt that he brought it back, but it's fun to imagine.

Now this is what I like about this board. By using the word "magic" just look at all the information that brought about. You ladies rock! From my own vast experience, (with movies, not guns), Roy Rogers and Gene Autry only had to load their 6 shooters after firing off about 20 rounds. So you see, Horatio's actual count does not bother me at all. This is a ficticious story, after all, and I'm sure the writers wanted to end the Mala Noche story line with a bang!

Karen, I'm with you wholeheartedly! If H had fired off 100 rounds without reloading, it wouldn't have bothered me. I'm a very firm believer in the idea that Miami is not to be taken 100% seriously, and I don't think the producers WANT us to take it 100% seriously. Didn't Calleigh say something about that in "Cross Jurisdictions?" Something about them looking at things a bit more fancifully? I look at it almost like a Comic Book, which is why the idea of Super Horatio doesn't bother me so much.

OK, so I enjoyed these two episodes but what was that opening scene in 'All-In' about? I mean, these Mala Noche are supposed to be a highly dangerous, muderous group, yet in that scene you could have replaced everyone with a Barbie Doll and not been any the wiser! Empty headed, one-dimensional and useless. What's the difference. Four of them stand there whilst H calmly blows them away. They clearly decided that using the foliage of a rain forest as cover was obviously a waste of time. Then we have two bikers screaming in. Another slightly strange move as controlling a speeding motorbike with one hand and trying to shoot Super H with the other is clearly asking for trouble. What next, an illegal logging truck carrying the Barbie Militia.....no...a sports car Stunning. I was aghast at the sheer stupidity. It was entertaining though. Aside from that, it was great to see Horatio in a lab coat doing some actual lab work, Delko decking Cooper and Cal kicking ass. Loved the poker table scene as well. Hope they keep the good work up. And I know I'd rather see Horatio take out the bad guys (I know there was a mention of him killing seventeen guys. It was only 7.) then have him dead or all shot up. And with his training he'd have perfect aim. He'd have to, thinking about it. Because one wrong move and it would most likely be all over for him. Just my two cents. ;D

I'll be honest, and I stated it before, I didnt like them, I think these episodes had SO much potential, and they failed miserably.
The writers, shoulda had H arrested in Rio and had his but kicked, and like, stuff like that, treat him like they would REALLY treat him, not be like "Oh, I'm done with you, take this gun and try to escape."
I didnt like that he didnt get hit by ONE bullet either, that ticked me off,
He's not been seriously wounded, and like his CSI's have been aubducted, killed, shot, and he's been harmless.
I think its getting rediculous, and that he should atleast be shot or something sooner or later,
and the whole thing with Julia?
I think that he should be the one to off her. That would be hawt. Because I know now he doesnt love her, after she betrayed him with Rio.
But anyways,
The acting was AWESOME as always, the storyline sucked butt.
Five thumbs up for acting.
No thumbs up for storyline.
They failed miserably, with something so great, and it ticks me off.
