Just checked back a couple of pages and found the walls for Ohio. I had completely missed them! Can I say on my behalf that it is time to apply myself to income taxes (the paying thereof) and the board has not been my priority these days?
Margaret: What an awesome job you did on central Ohio. It's such a nice thought that Mr. Caruso would actually attend a game here ---- Russell Crowe sat with the Michigan coach for one game last year, but that's another story. I love how effectively you used the quilt pattern called The Ohio Star; the red, white and blue example is wonderful. You got the capitol, the Franklin County offices (with a statue of Christopher Columbus out front) and of course we are all proud of TBDBITL (The Best d**n Band in the Land) as Woody Hayes used to call it so now everybody does. Script Ohio is always a thrilling sight to see. And Brutus Buckeye --- he and Horatio would make quite a pair. Many thanks ---- BIG TIME!

Thank you Karen.......was my pleasure. Until I started looking for samples of the ohio star I had assumed it would be a quilt pattern made with red, white and blue materials....but discovered it could be made with any materials as long as they formed the star....was an interesting road of discovery. To everyone else involved with this challenge it is due to continue for another week yet. But, as we have quietened down do you want to continue another week or shall I start the next challenge over the week end and extend movies from two to three weeks. ? Margaret

Yes, I think that is a great idea Margaret, maybe giving a day or two notice so that if anyone has any remaining wps on this topic thay can post them. It was a great idea wasn't it; the patriot theme. I have thoroughly enjoyed everyone's work. We ought to put together a vid of a selection of dcmessageboard wps for You tube.
