Nosy little girl............Good thing she didn't find out....she deserved that. It's sweet she's concerned, but if it's something personal, she shouldn't try to get it out...... Sandra

I agree with Sandra.......nosy girl Calleigh. And fancy talking to your boss in that manner anyway. A bit too much on your high horse for my liking. So, I will give you a kick as well.

so what is the reason for yelina being so hesitant about horatio?? well your going to find out! here is the final chap! enjoy! luv sam
“Oh… my… god! Yelina, I can’t believe it. You two actually…” Yelina nodded at her best friend, Christie, “yeah and now I don’t know how I feel about him. My head is all over the place especially after what Ray said to me earlier. Now I have no idea what to think.” “At least you know how Horatio feels about you. But you have to figure out how you feel. Do you think you married the wrong brother?” “Christie,” Yelina's voice was full of shock, “I can’t think that! If I hadn’t married Raymond, then I wouldn’t have Ray Junior would I?” “That’s very true. But don’t you ever think about what life would have been like if you had married Horatio instead?” As Yelina sat in thought contemplating whether to answer the question or not, the doorbell rang. Saved by the bell, Yelina was relieved as she got up to answer it. Yelina opened to door and her knees nearly gave way. Horatio was stood there looking at her from a side stance. “Yelina, I think we need to talk.” “Horatio, I have company but you’re more than welcome to come in. I’m sure she won’t be long.” “If you’re busy I can come back later.” “Its fine, come in. You’re right, we do need to talk.” Yelina opened the door so Horatio could come in. After she shut the door, she led Horatio into the lounge where Christie was sat. “Christie, this is Horatio. Horatio, this is Christie.” Christie stood up and shook his hand, “nice to meet you. Well, I need to get off now. I have a lot of housework to do before the hubby comes home. We’ll have to go out for coffee or even a night on the town just like the good old days.” Yelina laughed, “that would be great. See you soon and don’t be a stranger,” she gave her friend a hug. “Don’t worry Yelina, I won’t.” Christie left the house and Yelina and Horatio were alone. “I thought you’d be at the lab.” “Calleigh told me to go home. She’s looking after the lab for me.” “Why did Calleigh do that?” Yelina wasn’t sure if she wanted to know the answer. Horatio hooked his shades around his neck, “because I was liability as I couldn’t get my head straight. I can’t concentrate after last night and the fact that I was hungover.” Yelina sat down on the sofa and gestured to Horatio to sit next to her, “I’ve been thinking about last night as well. I really don’t know what to think or feel. You’re my dead husband’s brother, it just seems wrong.” “If you’ve been thinking about last night, then you must have some sort of feelings for me. You can’t say you didn’t enjoy it…” “Horatio, I did enjoy myself last night but how can we take this any further? Too much has happened between us already, we each have too much emotional baggage.” “And we both share a lot of the same baggage. It’s not impossible, Yelina. I just don’t want to lose you again.” “You won’t, I will always be here, you know that.” “So what is the real reason for not wanting to pursue this?” Yelina looked straight into his ocean blue eyes, “I’m scared.” “Of what?” Horatio seemed concerned. “Losing you on the job. I lost Raymond, I couldn’t stand losing you as well. You mean too much to me.” “I’m a big boy Yelina, I know how to take care of myself. Raymond got too involved with his work. I know where to draw the line, whereas Raymond didn’t,” Horatio put his hand on Yelina's cheek, “you mean the world to me, for a long time I have thought about what life would have been like if we had lived our lives together.” Yelina had to admit to herself that she had similar thoughts of her own. Horatio gently moved his hand to the back of her neck, pulled her close and gave her a lingering kiss on the forehead. Yelina closed her eyes as he kissed her. Her stomach knotted up. She opened her eyes to look at Horatio, their noses almost touching. Yelina lifted her head a little more and kissed Horatio who responded with passion. When they came up for air, Yelina smiled as they rested their foreheads against each other. “At least we’re not drunk this time!” Horatio laughed and held her close to him, “this is for real, right?” “Yes it is. I just don’t want this to end.” “It won’t, Yelina, it won’t.” Horatio wrapped his arms round Yelina and laid back on the sofa. Yelina grabbed the remote control, turned on the TV and they curled up to watch it, together.
