Well the reason we don't know whether she fell into his arms yet is because the teaser that Sam is cut the chapter at a crucial point. Nice chapter Sam. We will know one way or another today, please.

Do I detect a small disappointment for Horatio at the moment? I hope not! But why was she SO surprised? I mean what on earth?? We saw her "eating" him with her eyes (Greek expression to show how much someone enjoys watching someone else lol)! Sam, a drunk Horatio can control anything can he now? Anastasia

so what is yelina's reaction?? well, i didn't write what happened next as i know you all have very active imaginations and i'm sure you can imagine what happened next! ;D next chap is the morning after! enjoy! luv sam x The alarm went off at 5 o’clock as usual. Horatio leaned over to turn it off. Something wasn’t quite right. He lifted the covers and looked down at himself, he was naked. Where were his pyjamas? He heard movement next to him, he looked over to see Yelina moving about. She was still sleeping. Slowly and quietly he sat on the edge of the bed, his head started to spin. He should never have drunk so much last night. He rubbed his face with hands and slowly stood up. As he looked around, clothes were all over the bedroom floor. He then remembered what had happened, he hoped that the friendship he had with Yelina wasn’t ruined, he decided to wait until she’d woken up to talk to her. After he’d had a shower, shaved and got dressed, he felt much better. He made up two coffees then took them up to his room to see if Yelina was awake. As he walked in, Yelina was still sound asleep with the sun rising through the gap in the curtains. He put the cups of coffee on the bed-side table and leant over to Yelina and gently spoke into her ear. “Yelina, sweetheart, it’s time to get up.” She opened her eyes and squinted at the sunshine beaming through the gap in the curtains. She looked at Horatio noticing that he looked very awake considering he should be hungover. “What time is it?” “Nearly 6 o’clock. How are you feeling this morning?” “Tired, a little hungover,” Yelina then realised that she wasn’t wearing anything under the covers. Then she remembered what had happened last night. She thought it was all a wonderful dream. Horatio handed her one of the cups that he’d brought upstairs with him. She took a sip and held it in her hands, “Horatio, last night… I should never have…” “Don’t worry about it, we’d had more than enough to drink and things just happened. It takes two to tango. It was partly my fault as well, I should never have told you.” “Horatio, it was my fault you said what you did, I pushed you to tell me. I’m sorry.” Horatio smiled, “don’t be. I probably would have said something sooner or later anyway. Last night, I felt a little bit braver than normal because I’d been drinking.” “So it wasn’t just the drink talking then, you were telling me how you really felt.” Horatio stood up with his cup in his hand and lowered his head slightly, “Yelina, my feelings for you have never changed. I’ll let you get dressed, and I’ll go make some breakfast.” Horatio left the room and headed towards the kitchen, leaving Yelina speechless and trying to get her head around the recent events. Horatio set the table for the both of them. He looked at the clock on the wall, it was nearly half past six. He had to leave soon for work. He went back into the kitchen to finish off making breakfast. Yelina wandered to the kitchen after she’d showered and got dressed. It smelt good. “Do you need a hand with anything?” Horatio jumped slightly and turned round to see Yelina stood against the doorway. “Thank you but I’m nearly done. Waffles and toasted bagels sound okay?” “Sounds great.” “Well if you go sit down I’ll bring it over with another pot of coffee.” Yelina did as she was told. Horatio brought their breakfast to the table and sat down. As they both ate, they talked about things that had happened since Yelina's last visit.

Very nice Sam! Even though I'd love to see Yelina's reaction after Horatio told her the truth! Oh well! Nicely done!

i have the next chap for you to read!
yelinas got alot on her mind when she gets home! i have been listening to Celine Dion alot lately which is why i have included a couple of her songs in the story line as they reflect how yelinas feeling at the moment! enjoy luv sam x
Yelina pulled into the drive of her new home. She entered the house, it was too quiet. She wondered over to the radio and turned it on. She looked through her music collection to find some music to sing along to. She finally chose a Celine Dion album and inserted it in the machine. She put it on shuffle setting and went into the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. She needed to look awake for when Ray came home. Suddenly the first song came on, ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me Now’. It certainly was ‘all coming back to her now’. She put her elbows on the sideboard and hid her face in her hands. Just then the front door slammed shut and Ray had come through to the kitchen to see his mum looking a bit worse for wear. “Mom, are you okay?” “Yeah I’m okay, it’s self inflicted.” “You’re hungover aren’t you?” Ray grinned. “Yes I am, I went round to Horatio’s and drunk a bit too much.” “So why have you got up? I thought you’d have still been in bed.” “I stayed at Horatio’s, I was in no fit state to drive. He wouldn’t let me drive home.” “I don’t blame him, I wouldn’t either. Did you have fun?” Yelina smiled slightly but tried to hide it, “you could say that yeah.” “Was Horatio drunk? I can’t imagine that.” “I didn’t have to imagine it, he was quite drunk as well.” Ray started to raid the cupboards. “Ray, what are you doing?” “We’re going fishing today and then I’m going to bring Jeff back here so he can see my new pad,” Ray closed the last cupboard, “there’s no food to make a packed lunch with.” Yelina got her purse out and gave some money to her son, “here, buy yourself something. I’ve still got to do the shopping and I’ll do that today.” “Mom?” “Hmm?” “Can I ask you something? You don’t have to answer me if you don’t want to but I’m curious.” “Well Ray, it depends on the question.” Ray shifted nervously, “I was wandering if anything ever happened between you and Horatio.” Yelina was taken aback by this, “why do you ask?” “You two always seem to be very close when you’re together. I noticed yesterday when you were sat on the front steps yesterday.” “You were spying on us?” Yelina was quite shocked by this admission. “Not really, I was going to come downstairs but saw you two having ‘a moment’ and went back in my room to wait for you to finish.” “We’re close friends but that’s it. Nothing more.” “That’s ashame, Horatio would be good for you,” Ray quickly gave his mom a kiss on the cheek on his way out, “I will see you later. Jeff will be waiting for me at his.” Yelina curled up on her arm chair with a cup of coffee for her hangover and started to read the newspaper. She still had Celine Dion playing in the background. She couldn’t get out of her head what Ray had said to her just before he left. Was Ray giving his blessing to her being with Horatio? She wasn’t sure, she wasn’t sure herself about what happened last night and how she felt about Horatio. The song changed on the CD player, ‘All By Myself’ came on. That was it, she needed some girly chat. After looking through her address book, she dialled a number and waited for an answer. “Christie, its Yelina. You know you said that you need to come have a nosey round my new place? Do you fancy it now? I really could do with a chat.” Yelina spoke to Christie for a few more minutes. When she finished, she hung up and went upstairs to freshen up.

*sigh* Celine Dion and "All coming back to me now"... wonderful song and, yes, it definitely fits with the current situation. It's nice to see that Ryan jr. gives Yelina way to Horatio!

Lovely chapter Sam. Celine Dion one of my favourite female singers. As sundancer said nice that Ray junior gives the green light to his mum re Horatio. But, what is she needing to chat about with her friend.......surely she knows her own feelings about Horatio? ? Margaret

so what is horatio thinking after last nights events?? well lets find out!! oh by the way, tomorrow will be the last chap! you will find out if they get it together or if they just put it down to too much alcohol and should never have happened! mmmm which one will it be?!?!?!
anyway, enjoy todays chap! luv sam x
Calleigh walked to the morgue to collect an autopsy report from Alexx. As she entered, Horatio was about to leave, “morning Calleigh.” Calleigh looked at her watch, “actually, it’s the middle of the afternoon.” Horatio looked at his watch, “you’re right. Well, good afternoon ladies and thanks Alexx.” As Horatio left the morgue, Calleigh approached Alexx, “what is with him today? He looks half asleep and he isn’t quite with it. He didn’t even realise what time it was.” “Honey, I don’t know. I just get on with my job as requested.” Calleigh wasn’t convinced, she knew Alexx too well. “You know something and you’re not telling. Come on, what going on?” Alexx shook her head, “honey, I promised not to say anything. He spoke to me in total confidence.” “So you do know something.” “Yes but I’m not one to gossip as far as Horatio is concerned.” “But you are when it comes to everyone else,” Calleigh teased. “Actually, I’m very selective as to who I gossip about and about the nature of the gossip. Horatio wants this to stay quiet.” “So no-one is ever going to know?” she was a bit disappointed. “Honey, a man is allowed his secrets, especially Horatio. You know how he values his privacy.” Calleigh nodded in defeat, “yeah I know. Can’t you just hint as to what it’s all about?” Alexx flashed her a stern look, “Calleigh, don’t push it. Did you need something?” Calleigh knew better than to argue with Alexx when she looked and spoke like that, “I’ve come for the report on my vic from this morning.” Alexx went to her desk and picked up a file and handed it to Calleigh, “Cal honey, just let Horatio be. If he wants everyone to know then he will say. But right now, he’s just keeping his cards close to his chest.” “Okay Alexx, thanks,” Calleigh left the morgue thinking that there is more to this than meets the eye. So she went to Horatio’s office, where he’d spent most of the morning, which was very unlike him.
Calleigh knocked on the door and slowly opened it. Horatio was sat at his desk looking through the file that Alexx had handed to him. “Horatio, are you okay?” Horatio looked up at the door to see the Texan blonde looking concerned at him. “Yeah, why?” Calleigh stepped in and closed the door behind her, “it’s just that you’ve not been yourself this morning and everyone was a bit concerned about you, that’s all.” “Really,” Horatio’s eyebrows lifted up, “so what’s everyone saying about me then?” Calleigh edged in a bit further, “you were half an hour late this morning. You’re never late, you’re normally here before anyone else is out of bed. You’ve been spending a lot of time in here, which you very rarely do. You seem to be in a world of your own and not concentrating properly. It’s as if your body is here out your mind is still at home.” Horatio admitted to himself that his mind was still at home, thinking about last night and this morning. He stood up and approached Calleigh, “don’t worry Cal, I’m fine. I just had a strange night last night and am feeling the effects of it today.” “What do you mean strange? Did something bad happen?” Horatio sensed the worry and concern in her voice, “no, I don’t think so. To be honest, I’m not sure. It’s been going round my head all morning.” “Do you need to go home early? Get things in your head sorted, I can keep an eye on things.” Horatio tilted his head slightly and smiled, “thanks Cal but that won’t be necessary.” “Horatio,” Calleigh went serious on Horatio, “we need you to be here with us not just physically but mentally as well. Being away with the fairies all day may cost a mistake on your investigation. Look, whatever it is, you need to get it sorted, I miss the old Horatio being around. Carry on like this and everyone will think that you’re an impostor.” Horatio chuckled to himself, “I can see your point,” he walked to his desk and closed the file and picked it up, “just as long as you’re sure.” “Horatio, I can handle it. Give me that file and go get yourself sorted.” Feeling rather hen pecked by both Calleigh and Alexx, Horatio reluctantly gave Calleigh the file, “thanks Calleigh.” “No worries, I’ll get Ryan onto this case, okay? Now go get whatever it is sorted.” Horatio grabbed his jacket and walked out. Calleigh stood and played back in her mind what had just happened. She never got out of him what had gone on. All she knew was something happened last night. Now she’d lost her only chance to find out. She walked out of the office almost kicking herself.
