Hmmm. Wonder if that hip fashion boutique is similar to one called "Steam"!

Karen--that would be a riot! If they filmed in Miami, it would make sense, but I'm betting this epi was filmed in LA. Pity. Maybe someday...

The fancy boutique might not have been DC's but a big "S" on the window certainly made me think about that.
Actually the team, working together, solved this one as Horatio had family to tend to. That picture of him bending over "smelling her shampoo" as I put it earlier, was worth a thousand words. Julia is bi-polar and a neighbor was stealing her meds so she was becoming unhinged. Kyle was trying to help but was only getting himself in trouble again. To my way of thinking, Horatio is a pushover when it comes to flawed women. Now that Julia is ill, she needs Horatio's help. Since Horatio needs to be needed, we'll probably see more of them together. Ron blew her bank account on that big yacht so she's close to broke now, too.
I have more to say, but will wait until the review, or at least a few other comments, are posted.

Karen--I couldn't agree more. Worth a thousand words and more--and how impressive is it that the best scene in the epi (and maybe the most powerful moment this season) had no dialogue, and yet the look that passed between H and Julia said it all. I am now quite eager to see the development of their relationship, whether it's romantic or platonic.

Sounds like a very intense epi, especially when it comes to H, Kyle, Julia........but.....you lost me a little bit.....Julia is ill? ?? What is it she suffers from? Is it bad or can it be cured? Coulodn't follow on that one..... Sandra

Sanne--Julia is Bipolar. It's not curable, but it's treatable.

Sandra, if you are referring to "bipolar" you can check in Wikipedia "Bipolar disorder". Gonsy

Thnx Gonsy.....checked it and from the info I read there, it's something similar to what we call "Manic Depression". Is that the right interpretation? Sandra

I guess so, Sandra. Here we call it "Trastorno Bipolar" or "Maniaco-depresivo". Gonsy

Karen, I too agree with you. I just LOVED watching DC in this episode - you can feel all the emotions in your heart without him saying any words just by his tender touch as he put the shawl over Julie's shoulder, the soft kiss on her head and the look in his - and Julia's - eyes. And the emotion and frustration as he was examining the car. I liked the part where H didn't find the small piece of evidence but rather Eric did. I know myself when I'm upset and frustrated - especially when it involves my own son - I may overlook something important even if its right under my nose and my family or friends bring it to light. He team was there for him when he needed it.
I had mixed feelings when I read and saw all the pics leading up to this episode and especially the interview with David and Elizabeth - did I really want to see our H fall back in love - with Julia? But after tonight's episode it was great to see - and feel - the human side of H as he interacts with Julia and I look forward to seeing how their relationship develops. Just hope the writers continue with the same expertise as in tonight's episode and not drop the ball and I'm sure we'll see David and Elizabeth portray their characters at their best!

I also thought much care went into bringing Horatio and Julia to the point where rekindling the romantic flame was possible. Dragonfly addressed the car examination scene perfectly. I thought Horatio should have not been around because he was too close to the people involved, but it was his being frustrated and upset that caused him to overlook evidence literally "right under his nose." Wonderful that Eric got to come to his aid.
While silence may be golden where romance is concerned, I sure wish Horatio would be more vocal when dealing with Kyle. I am looking forward to the day when those two can sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk about what they expect from each other.
