Hey I am going to jump in here too, if that's okay. I did love this episode for a number of reasons. Kyle's concern for Mom and Dad. Horatio's concern for Kyle. I won't spoil it there, but it's the part where he walks up to the crime scene. I also liked how H stood by Julia's side and tried to help her. He didn't give up on her and that affection he showed in the end was beautiful. I liked this Ep! Oh, and um... in this whole episode... I turned Julia into Calleigh! Hehehe HCrazy

I thought this epi was good as I felt it was slightly different to the norm ...also showing the touching , tender side of Father and Son and Horatio's genuine concern for Julia that was portrayed well. I am not saying it was my favourite epi but good all the same. maggie

Sorry I am late...just watched Bombshell episode tonight. As Mandy said, plenty of pink...too much pink for me. Have to say this epi did not do much for me, certainly not my favourite this season. The murder plot was quite good. The best scenes for me were between Horatio & Kyle, and the very touching scene where Horatio was obviously in a state of despair because he couldn't find anything that would clear Kyle or Julie of the hit and run, and Eric came to help him. The scenes between Horatio and Julia were OK as far as Horatio was concerned, but Julia still leaves me cold. Wondering how many more times Horatio is going to have to pull all the stops out to protect Kyle and Juia, he is going beyond the limit now. But, I still love Horatio LOL.

I liked this epi, specially because of Horatio and the way he acted about Kyle and Julia, showing emotions, losing a little his composure, in a word, being human. Liked Eric helping Horatio as well. ;D Gonsy

Just managed to see the latest ep in UK[sorry,I can never remember the titles]. It is the 1 with the crane crashing into the safe house. Thought it was an exciting episode with every one doing a good job.I read all the synopses on the board when season 7 came out in USA but have now managed to forget most of the details so the plot twists are still taking me by surprise! Did not suspect the son at all! I actually preferred the Salucci character to the whiny wife- though she did have the grace to apologise to Calleigh in the end. Love the Natalia/Ryan pairing-they really work well together. H & Frank were also on top form-do you think they could do a spin-off show where they are both hard bitten private investigators? Nice to see Horatio in the lab-he looks great in a lab coat though his hair is getting out of control. Going away on holiday now so I have a long wait for my next Miami fix. Catch you all later! Love Mandy

I never suspected the son either. On the other hand, it usually isn't the most predictable suspect either.......I love H and Frank working together. Enjoy your holiday Mandy. Sandra

@ Mandy....this one is WRECKING CREW........and as they never show the title at the start of an episode, I always have to look it up.
Sorry, I am late in here again.......but did not watch this episode until last night.
I agree, a nice exciting start, quite dramatic. Not a bad plot line overall, and yes, I was surprised the son murdered his own father albeit he didn't intend to; but there was deliberate intent to scare. Nice boy......however, at his age I do think the parents could have discussed the matter and explained their reasons more fully to the boy for accepting protection. Calleigh played her role well here, although this is yet another episode where Calleigh and H are not in a single scene together and he merely asked Eric if she was okay. The producers are really making it obvious there is trouble on that front. Horatio would normally have been at her side in minutes in past series.
I also like the look of Natalia and Ryan together. Makes me laugh when I remember the first time he had to work with her......he did not like that one bit. Ryan is being allowed to project himself more this season and he is coming across so much better in this series. Also agree with all, that Horatio and Frank were on top form.
In life after CSI: Miami........I would love to see Horatio and Frank as private detectives. This is very close to another idea I put forward in another thread to have Horatio and Mac Taylor as private detectives.........perhaps we could add Frank as the middle man.
Salucci was wrong to avenge his daughters death ( accidental) by murder, but even though this was wrong, Horatio did feel a bit of compassion by looking at his picture of Kyle. A very poignant moment.

Things do appear to be a little frosty if not icy between H and C don't they . It is good to see H back in the Lab though . Hair our of control ? I think it makes him look just a little disheveled in the nicest possible way of course . maggie

This was a nice epi. The beginning was stunning! And I have to agree with the fact that Horatio puts himself in this man's shoes and feels compassion for him. Gonsy

i watched 'gone baby gone' tonight and OMG! i just knew that male kidnapper was dead when they approached him in his home! i kept yelling at the screen 'he's dead!' stupid me, they can't hear me! it also didn't surprize me that the babys dad wasn't the husbands. as soon as i saw Natalia performing the DNA test on the saliva from the dummy (or passifier to the Americans) i had a feeling that the husband wasn't the dad, then my suspicions were confirmed. when they interviewed the biological father at first, i just knew he had something to do with it. but his plan backfired on him and still ended up with nothing but put the babys life in danger. stupid man! my heart melted whenever i saw Horatio with the baby. she was just a cute little baby and she looked even cuter in Horatio's arms. although i noticed that he didn't do his thing with the shades (taking them off and putting them back on in his typical style) i was disappointed with that. all in all, a good epi. a bit predictable in places but otherwise good. luv sam x

I thought the acting was really good in this epi. And of course H with the little girl was adorable. Sandra

You two make me laugh. ;D ;D
Okay, I finally watched "Gone Baby Gone" this afternoon, yes I did say that. Was too involved in other things to watch on Tuesday or Wednesday, and I like to watch when I am ready to watch so that I enjoy to the utmost. Well, of course this was the kidnapped baby episode we heard so much about from our friends in the US, and had some fabulous pictures posted.
I have found this season more than others that I have learned too much about the episodes in advance and have been expecting more from them as a result. But, I am still enjoying them and this one is no exception. Yes, as Sam has said predictable, in fact, very predictable, but it was all done very nicely. Thought Horatio was at his best expression wise, the expression and a couple of accompanying words say it all. And of course the final scene with the baby was so very touching. Nice warm feeling about this episode. Enjoyed it........and at last we see Calleigh in one brief scene with Horatio, although they didn't even glance at each other. A question for those in the know.........does this situation get any better. Margaret
