I know the promos promise that something will happen in the morgue that will "change things forever" or something like that. My take on it is that the morgue will get destroyed and we will have a new set for next year. These teasers are beyond believing anymore and I will be very surprised if any of the characters are killed.

Will be interesting to read your review Karen.........your take on it makes sense. I cannot see anyone being killed off especially as you have what sounds like an extra good season.....who would they want to get rid of at this stage? Maybe Kyle? They do love our Horatio to feel pain. Just a wild, wild guess.

If they would kill off Kyle, it would surprise me to the max......that storyline still has so much potential.....I don't think they would cut it off like that right now. Sandra

Well at this point of time I don't really know too much about Kyle this season......not having seen any of it yet. I don't think it is actually likely........as I said just a wild, wild guess.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tara go and bringing back Alexx. I certainly don't see them killing any of them off. I think it will just be one big explosion and destroy evidence and the morgue as Karen said.

I was thoroughly pleased with this episode. We had two scenes of H with kids. And the final scene of him with the little girl was almost more than I could handle. It's been too long since we've seen this side of H. How wonderful it was to have that back!

As I expected, the "grenade in the morgue" scene didn't amount to as much as all the hype seemed to indicate. Nobody died, and all that was accomplished was that Tara's pills were spilled and Ryan saw how anxious she was about getting the Oxycotin (sp) picked up. This, no doubt, is a prelude to the final two episodes. No one seemed upset about the damage done to the morgue either so it appears it will be back in its usual form in future episodes.
Plot centered around a credit card scheme that goes bad. All involved were either workers or customers at a specific restaurant, and of course, the owner was also in on the scheme. The secondary plot revolved around a waitress with two young children who was attending college and working extra hours at that restaurant to make ends meet. Through no fault of her own, her nanny left the children unattended and Childrens' Services wound up taking them. This was Horatio's "damsel in distress" storyline. He tracked down the nanny, got the kids back to their mommy and had a final wonderful scene with the little family in a park. He had several charming moments with the little girl and he also worked both a crime scene and a lab scene with Calleigh.
I wasn't quite as pleased with tonight's episode as I was with last weeks. The explosions were impressive and the storyline held together fairly well, with the usual unexpected twists and turns we have come to love. But it was rather predictable and served more to introduce the last two episodes than to stand alone. Horatio was quite active and that is always a BIG PLUS in my book. He even sported two shirts tonight: a light blue one so the blood from a victim would show, and later on the usual dark striped job.
Everyone was featured tonight with only Kyle getting the short end of the stick. Frank covered a crime scene alone and got shot at for his efforts. Only his pride was injured and he took it out on the perp pretty good until Eric told him to ease off. Nice to see some heavy emotion coming out of him.
Eric and Calleigh were in their professional frame of minds with only a glance to show they were happy to see each other. (Thank TPTB for that.)
Natalia and Ryan, along with the new lab tech worked the evidence leading to an arrest or two or three.
I guess I'm satisfied with this episode, just not so elated as with previous shows.
