Another great chapter Cassity.
Glad to see that Horatio has his memory back, but sad that he had to remember all that negative stuff.
Also glad to see that Ryan is still with him.
Can't wait to see what you do with it next.

Here it is - the long awaited CHAPTER ELEVEN. -----
Chapter Eleven: Darkness Fell
Darkness had taken Horatio over as he sit beside Ryan - and he awoke in the hospital - again, this time with all of his memories in tact. He blinked a few times making sure that he was indeed in the hospital - and when he felt satisfied - he shifted a little, noted the cast that hung like a limp rag doll from his hip down to his foot. He decided he must have hurt himself pretty badly in the explosion. Horatio wondered if he'd ever be able to walk again, in his old age, if this would be a d**ning wound. Wondered if he'd ever be able to be a cop again. -----
Ryan had been admitted for smoke inhalation but he was doing alright now, and ready to go home. Ready to catch the suspect who kept trying to kill Horatio. He couldnt go see Horatio - for Horatio was still in ICU when he got out, so he decided the best thing he could do would be go back to the scene. Calliegh and Eric had yet to arrive he noted as he strode under the "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS" tape.. that he'd grown so familiar with. Had his kit in hand, and tried to think of what Horatio would have told him if it had been any other scene. Look for the seat of detonation - thats where the bomb will most likely be. Ryan shook his head.. Thanks Horatio - except you fell a floor in a half into your basement.. so what now.. he asked Horatio's voice that seemed to be in his head. Ryan waited for an answer... suddenly feeling like he was losing his mind. So do what we normally do- follow the evidence. Ryan laughed out loud. He couldnt believe he knew Horatio so well that he could even hear his voice.. So he did exactly what Horatio had told him - followed the evidence.
---
An hour later Calliegh and Eric both showed up.
Calleigh was wearing a nice outfit, one for which she shouldnt have been investigating an explosion scene with but - no one was complaining. She stopped the hummer beside Ryans - and her and Eric both got out. She took note of what was left of Horatio's - nothing, what was left of his house - nothing. Wondered where Ryan was.. she approached at an even pace with Eric.
Eric just looked at what used to be his brother in - law's house. There was nothing left, and for a second he thought he may have walked up on the "World Trade Centers" again. September 11th happened again, he thought for a split second. He sighed, and took a different direction than Calleigh had gone. Found Ryan digging through the basement only moments later. "So what do you have Wolfe?" Eric asked him.
Ryan looked up from where he was standing and saw Eric standing there. "Why should I tell you? It seems you dont care that Horatio was almost killed, again. It took you guys more than an hour to get on scene." he narrowed his eyes, and looked back at the evidence he'd collected.
Eric shifted a little. "Well- We- Uhm.."
Ryan just rolled his eyes. "No. Horatio almost died, and there are no excuses." he said stepping up for Horatio's sake. "I was here when the bomb went off, had to carry Horatio's lifeless body out of his own home. If you arent going to get here on time, dont come at all!" he said, and his voice was full of anger and so where his eyes.
Eric looked down at him. "Calm down." he said. He started down the ramp that Ryan had created so that he could get back and forth from the basement.
Ryan put down the evidence and walked over to him. "No. Dont you even dare walk onto my scene." he said, and stood in Eric's way.
Eric just looked at him. "Look, Alright I know your traumatized, and I know you've been stuck with Horatio the last week, but we need to work -- "
Ryan cut him off. "Where have you guys been? Hmm? Do you not care about Horatio's health, or his well being? Its only when you and Calliegh are forced you come to MY scene." he almost pushed Eric away but he remembered the trouble it had gotten him into the last time.
Eric made the first move, and pushed Ryan almost as hard as he could. "Dont tell me how I feel about my family." he snorted.
Ryan fell backwards and landed on his back, he wasnt weak, he knew. Brushed himself off and got back up. "Touch me again and you'll have a bullet in your head." he snorted, and started walking toward his evidence.
Eric was pissed by now. Anger for the fact that Horatio had made Ryan his proxy, angered that he had said what he'd said. He walked up to Ryan and punched him in the face... still feeling the need to create more pain for him...
Ryan took the hit, and just stood there, blood now coming out of his mouth. "ERIC!" he yelled as loud as he could. "d**nit! Get off my scene, you cant control your anger - you shouldnt be here. Now leave."
Calliegh walked up on them, and saw Ryan dirty and bleeding. "Boys! Eric, Ryan calm the hell down- Now!"
Eric walked back up the ramp beside Calliegh and stare down at Ryan. "Fine Wolfe. You want the Scene, its all yours" he said and started walking toward the hummer.
Calliegh looked from Ryan to Eric, and just shook her head. She couldnt believe how they where acting with each other. But then again she didnt know about the Medical Proxy issue either. -----
Ryan had to sift through everything on his own, took a lot longer than it should have, but with all of the evidence he'd personally collected himself - he made sure he was the only one who examined it as well. He'd found pieces of the bomb itself, which he knew Horatio would want to see. And sat with all of them in the 'Layout Room' spread out on the table. Staring at them trying to figure out how to put them together.
Horatio had been released from the hospital, with a limp. The cast was so huge that it was awkward for him to walk in it, and he didnt ever think he'd get used to it - much less get used to riding around in a patrol car - all the way to the lab. He didnt miss those days. - Slowly and surely he walked into the lobby of his lab and sighed, tapping his casted foot. His first order of business was to see what Ryan had found with the help of Calleigh and Eric at the scene. So thats where he went, and when he walked in and only saw Ryan at the table he narrowed his eyes. "Mister Wolfe." he murmured. "Where are Calleigh and Eric?"
Ryan looked at him. "To pissed to deal with the case." he said, and that was all he said.
Horatio narrowed his eyes further and his eyebrows furrowed. "So what do you have then, since it looks like all of this is in your name."
Ryan looked at him, "Well, I did collect all of it. Seems the bomber is good, knows how to not leave his prints on any piece as well as his DNA. But I did find something sick- The bomber - was ... Pleasuring himself while he made the bomb."
Horatio's eyes widened and then narrowed again. "He- He was..."
Ryan merely nodded. "And we got his DNA from it."
Horatio offered a light smile. "Good work Mister Wolfe." Eric and Calleigh would be dealt with later, or they would come to him - he knew. Right now he had to run with what--limp with what he had.
Ryan saw the cast as Horatio started to walk out. "You planning on arresting this guy yourself - in that?" he asked.
Horatio laughed a little. "No, Mister Wolfe - that, that is why I have you."
Ryan laughed now. "Ah, I see." and before he could ask his next question Horatio was gone.

Here it is- Chapter Twelve. Muwahahah -----------
Chapter Twelve: Stand-Off
Horatio was alone sitting in his hummer broken leg hang out the door because he couldnt find a way for it to fit inside. Nor did he think he'd be driving any time soon until it healed. His body ached and he still heard ringing- from the blast, it was faint but it was there. He didnt think it would go away for a long time, since he'd been laying right on top of the bomb. Still now - he was surprised that he'd not died. Someone was watching out for him - he knew. And hoped it was Raymond, or Marisol. He shifted as he sat - a sitting duck - in the opinion of most, but he just needed a break from everything. ---
Eric walked up to Horatio's new hummer- it looked like it had just come off the line - although there where a few dings in it. He wondered if they'd given Horatio - Speedles. Because his had sat unused for almost four years. He saw the drivers side door was open, and someone was sitting behind the wheel. He approached closer. "H- Hey Horatio." he murmured as he pulled open the door.
Horatio just looked at him for a moment and sighed. "I heard - Eric that you and Calleigh where late to the crime scene. My crime scene." he said. His eyes narrowed to slits and anger broiled behind ocean blues.
Eric sighed and shifted. "Calleigh and I where running with something that didnt concern Wolfe."
Horatio almost laughed - all these years being a team and still they keep secrets from each other. "Eric - We're all a team. Weather or not Wolfe needed to be informed is my call." he sighed and shook his head. "I'm afraid your little fight with Wolfe, and getting really physical with him has caused me to kick you from my case. I wont have you fighting when a man who's tried to kill me twice is still out there." he snorted, and put his fist against the steering wheel. He looked at his brother in law. "Next time - Remember" he paused. "If we dont hang together, we'll die alone." he said the same words he'd said to Ryan.
Eric looked at him and sighed. "Okay- Horatio." he said and started to walk away -
Horatio stopped him. "Eric- theres other crimes being committed in Miami, work one of those cases for now." he didnt say anything else- he just stat silent.
Eric kept walking hearing Horatio's orders - He was going to have to break the news to Calleigh that he was off the case and he didnt want to. -------
Ryan was still in layout trying to assemble the bomb that had almost blown Horatio to pieces, he thought that maybe it had malfunctioned and thats why Horatio was still alive. But the question became, finding where it had broken when it had gone off. Ryan was still worried about Horatio's sanity as he started to piece the bomb together. Everything he knew about bombs he'd learned from Horatio- watching him meticulously put them together after one had gone off. - He needed a break though - so he went to DNA to see if they'd found the match to the semen they'd found. ----
Maxine Velera had just gotten done with the DNA and read who it belonged to. Shock overwhelmed her gaze as she read it- It couldnt be right. Could it. How the heck..
Ryan walked in the door and looked at her. "Please tell me you have good news."
Velera just looked at him. "I have the DNA.... but.. its all too familiar."
Ryan took the paper. Read it in his head and then out loud. "Kyle Harmon. - H- Horatio's son - Th--That cant be possible.."
Velera looked at him and her eyes turned grim. "You need to talk to Horatio." she murmured.
Ryan ran out of the lab with the folder like a bat out of hell. He pulled out his cell phone and called Horatio- no answer. So he went outside to the parking lot and found him still in the Hummer.
Horatio saw Ryan approach and narrowed his eyes. "Mister Wolfe." he said and could tell he wasnt going to like what he was about to tell him.
Ryan looked at Horatio. "The DNA came back.. and its... Your son." he said and turned his head away.
Horatio processed the information. "Wh--What...?" he asked. As if he didnt hear him but he did. "H-How.."
Ryan looked at him. "We dont know -Slide over, I think something's happened to him." he said and waited for Horatio to slide into the passenger seat.
Horatio looked at him. "My own flesh and blood would not try to kill me." he said and his words fell from his tongue like bullets. He pulled out his phone as he slid across the center counsel in the hummer and called Kyle.. No answer. Called Julia. No answer. "Mister Wolfe something is wrong." he said.
Ryan started the hummer as soon as his rear hit the seat, slammed the door shut and took off for Kyle's apartment. He knew Horatio was going to feel like this was his fault.
Horatio just gaze out the window. "When we get there I'm going in first- regardless of my limp." he sighed. ---------
Ten minutes later they arrived and Horatio - running on adrenaline was already out of the hummer before it stopped. He didnt even wait for Ryan to put it into park. There was no time he knew. He slowly tread up to the stairs - the door was wide open. "Kyle..." he said lightly pulling his pistol from its holster.
Ryan followed behind and then went to the rear of the building checking to see of maybe someone was inside or not -
Horatio slowly moved inside the apartment, and what he found was something he never believed he would find - In the living room Julia lay spread eagle with two bullets in her. One in the skull and the other in her heart. Emotion hit him like a freight train and he fell to his good knee. "Julia.." he whimpered, and saline tears coated his cheeks.
Ryan continued the search, now Kyle was the only one in danger - still he found nothing.
Horatio closed Julia's eyes and kept walking around - her blood too was now on his hands. Slowly he tread up the stairs wondering if maybe Kyle was hiding. The car he'd noted was still in the driveway.
Ryan yelled for Horatio when he found blood in the pool and back patio. "Horatio! Your going to want to see this." he said as loud as he could
Horatio cleared the house. "Alright - Mister Wolfe." he said. He made his way slowly back downstairs and passed Julia's body. He opened the back sliding glass door and found a blood trail. "Looks like Kyle was shot, and aubducted Mister Wolfe - Test the blood make sure its Kyle's." he said, and started to walk toward the front of the house. Needed to call the ME. He looked back at Julia one last time - "I'm sorry" he murmured and then walked outside.
Ryan saw Horatio's emotions switch, and now saw the pain and guilt he was feeling. He'd be d**ned if he let anything happen to Kyle.
Horatio just stood for a long moment on the front porch. Staring into nothing. "I'll find you Son... I will.." he said. And lowered his head.

Great chapter. I know this has to be a setup, I don't believe Kyle would try to kill his own father. Although I am glad to see Julia dead even if it is only in your story LOL.

Here it is - The big Chapter Thirteen! ----
Chapter Thirteen: The Truth Will Set You Free
Casanova watched as his captive stirred in his dazed sleep - a sight to behold - he thought as he sat on the rickety chair backwards. He'd drugged him - and now it was wearing off- and this was what he'd gotten off on - all those other times, the fear, the anger, the pain. When he broke the news that their parents where dead - just like all of the other police officers children. This boy would be no different. He laughed almost at that thought. No - this boy was no different.
Kyle slowly started to come too - he was worried at first, and when he opened his eyes- they where a blur and he couldnt quite figure out where he was, but he knew - he felt like he had the hangover from hell. He tried to stand up but realized he was bound. Fear clouded his thoughts as he struggled against the bindings. He couldnt speak for his throat and mouth felt like they weighed as much as a Semi truck - from prior experience he knew that that was the drug, but not at this moment he did not know - for he could not think. His brain refused to work - he didnt know who he was, or where he was -
Casanova laughed as Kyle came to, loud and from the pit of his stomach. "Ahh, I see - my son, you've awoken." he said - He stood up and walked over to Kyle - lifted his head up to face him stare into the broken blue that seemed to be a trait passed down from father to son.
Kyle felt himself moving but he knew he wasnt doing it - felt like he was suffering a time warp and was stuck in the middle. He couldnt speak still.. and it was scaring him. He looked up at the man who held onto his chin, staring down into him - boring into his soul.
Casanova laughed harder. "Ah, My son- it is alright - fear is normal." He pulled out Kyle's cell phone. For he'd taken every piece of clothing from the captive- and gave him his own - a gown that looked like he'd just come out of the hospital - and that was what he wanted- He looked through the contacts list- scrolling down - "Ah - here it is. Dad." he said and he hit dial.
.... ... ...
"Hello, Kyle! Is that you!" Horatio's voice sounded almost relieved.
Casanova waited a moment, two. "Lieutenant Caine- It seems I have not fulfilled what I wanted to do - It seems you did not die." his voice was angry - he was almost sure that he'd killed Horatio.
Horatio's features turned into all seriousness - there where no games here. "Where is my son." was all he said, and his voice quivered for a moment.
Casanova smiled a little. "Ah - he's doing fine, you'll see him - shortly. I have a picture of him if you'd like to know that he's still alive."
Horatio motioned to Ryan to go into the hummer and try to track Kyle's phone - Seconds where being wasted and Horatio knew what it meant for a kidnapping - and for all he knew - Kyle was already dead. He waited to respond a moment - two.
Casanova just laughed. "Alright - you dont want a picture? How about I send it anyways." he said.
Horatio just listened, unable to speak for his voice was lost to him. He waited, and his phone beeped. There was the picture - His hands shook, afraid of what he was about to see. - He hit the open button and waited for it to load.
Casanova hadnt left him. "You'll notice the picture - in my humble opinion reminds me of your childhood."
Horatio shivered - finally the picture loaded, and everything he felt hit him at once. There- was his son, bound, and gagged, and beaten - bruised - God knew what else. "Where - is my son." he said the words harder without shaking this time.
Casanova laughed again - "Ah he's alright- Lieutenant - But you wont be very shortly."
Horatio looked over at Ryan who was signaling to him that he had a location.
"You traced the phone didnt you Horatio - Clever - Clever." he said. "But you see I made sure you wouldnt be able to track it - I'm not stupid."
Horatio snorted, his eyes narrowing to slit as he stood. Wanting to pace but held himself back. "What do you want?" he asked, willing at this point to give up anything.
Casanova smiled at Kyle - who he could tell was still laced with GHB. "I want resolution Horatio. I want you to pay for what you did to me - You took my son away. And now I have yours."
Horatio - as soon as he said that he was scanning his mind for case files - anything - justifiable Homicides he'd committed where he'd killed someone's son. Panic was overwhelming him now, and he didnt even know where to begin to start. "I just want my son back." he murmured.
Casanova laughed. "Ah - Did you see what I did to his mommy? Yeah.. I bet you already have. I bet her body is already in the morgue. Your smart Caine. Not smart enough." and ended transmission.
Horatio threw his phone down and it slammed against the ground bursting into pieces. Anger and guilt - and pain - and suffering overwhelmed him - he couldnt believe this was happening. Couldnt believe it. And then a thought struck him. He could trade himself for Kyle. Endure anything that was happening - Kyle didnt need to go through it. He shouldnt be. Horatio signaled to Ryan to come over and hand him his phone - He dialed Kyles number again.
Casanova answered on the third ring. "Yes -" he said.
"This is Horatio - I would like to make you an offer." he spoke slow and calm.
Casanova had been waiting for this. "Yes. Go on Caine."
"I want to trade myself for my son."
Casanova laughed again. "Ah, sounds like a fair deal. But- if only you were not a cop. See I'm still smarter - I wont fall for that." he said.
Horatio was holding back his anger now - it was clutching his stomach - his heart, and he wanted to throw his fist through something. But he had to stay in control.
Casanova laughed. "See you soon Lieutenant."
Horatio hung up the phone - handed it to Ryan without saying a word, and limped to the hummer. The scene would be processed, by the night shift - which he didnt trust, but couldnt have anyone else do it - since his CSI's where biased to him and he'd had problems before.
Ryan didnt say anything - he couldnt, he didnt know what Horatio was feeling.
Horatio just was silent the whole ride to the Crime Lab - reminders of his past written all over that picture that had been sent to him of his own son. -----------------
Casanova walked back over to Kyle and smiled. "It looks like your dad is still alive. - Your lucky. Because I have all of the control." he said - he smiled wider.
Kyle couldnt think still - his body was aching, he knew he was bleeding - but .. What is blood? he wondered to himself.
Casanova had drugged him with just enough GHB for him to be- at the lowest level of coherency- and the lowest functioning level. Smart on his part he knew because from watching Kyle he was sure he could take him. -----
Horatio couldnt stand the thought of his son in danger. He wondered why this man had done this, but the answer came from the job - and it spoke the right reason. No one ever knows, because someone with nothing to lose - will do anything. Kyle had just become another victim of his profession - he knew - and that hurt him- worse than anything.

Here's Chapter Fourteen! ------------
Chapter Fourteen: Guilty Until Proven Innocent
He was alone - sitting at his desk, looking at old case files that he'd dredged up from years and years ago, trying to find out who Casanova was. Trying to find anything he could on him. But with a list of suspects and no good leads he was getting nowhere. Kyle's time was ticking away slowly and if Horatio didnt do something - he would most likely wind up dead. So he limped over to the couch he'd put in his office and sat down - the days that had passed where wearing on him and he needed rest, even if it was for a few moments- What was going to happen was going to happen regardless - and maybe he'd be able to control his emotions better if he wasnt so sleep deprived. So he let sleep overwhelm him - nightmares consume him. -----
Ryan was in the layout room again trying to find anything that would lead to the bomber. Casanova. The DNA they'd found was Kyles - which he'd wonder - since it was semen how it got there. Unless - Ryan's mind went there - and then it came back quickly - Kyle could not have endured what Horatio had - he hoped. He scanned every area of the bomb - every inch with every single light - or mechanism he could think of. And still nothing - no blood - no fibers. Nothing. It was a dead end.
Ryan's phone started to shrill at his waist and he answered it.
"Wolfe." he said.
"Wolfe - This isnt Caine. Doesnt matter - what does matter is what I am doing to his son." the voice on the other line laughed.
Ryan was holding back his own anger. "What do you want." he said lightly - he was thinking about going and getting Horatio but maybe the kidnapper only wanted to send him a message.
Casanova laughed. "I want to show Caine I am the one on top. Literally - What I've done is something no man could ever dream of doing - I've created a work of art out of his son. And I rather like it."
Ryan's body was shaking and his mind was going everywhere. "Where is Kyle." he murmured.
Casanova laughed again. "On top of the world." and ended the call.
Ryan put his phone down and had to take a moment to gather himself. On top of the world. then the layout room phone rang and he bolted for it. "This is Ryan Wolfe." he answered hiding the fear in his voice.
"We have reports of a crane being used to hoist a body up almost one thousand feet - eye witnesses say its not a good scene."
Ryan's body shook and his hand almost dropped the phone. "Where at..?" he asked.
The voice on the other line answered. "In the center of Miami - Wolfe. Where the tallest building is. - thats what he told me to tell you."
Ryan hung the phone up - now he had to go get Horatio. He bolted for Horatio's office. Ran up the stairs instead of using the elevator. And almost slammed through the glass door - He started banging on it as hard as he could. "Horatio! Horatio!" he yelled as loud as he could.
Horatio stirred awake. His eyes narrowing as he found reality again. "Mister Wolfe?" he said and limped to the door. He opened it.
"Casanova is putting on one last show. - Your son - He's hanging from a crane - at one thousand feet..." Ryan started - "The tallest building in Miami - H.."
Horatio's adrenaline surged in his body again and he knew what this meant. "Mister Wolfe go get the hummer" he said and started to run the best he could down the stairs. He met Ryan outside and they took off to the center of Miami. --------
Casanova was at the controls and slowly - foot by foot Kyle's unconscious body lifted up higher and higher. So many people where watching - and he laughed every time he thought about it. Ah the glory when Horatio Caine saw what he'd done. It was an amazing feeling. He knew Kyle would be waking up by the time he was close to two thousand feet in the air - and he awaited that moment as well. Higher and Higher still - he rose. - -----
Ryan sped down the causeway and past motorists sirens blaring lights flashing - there was no time. Horatio had ordered him to floor the accelerator - people would move out of their way no matter what - he'd hoped.
----
They arrived and Horatio was the first out of the Hummer - Jumped out and saw the crane, and like an ant in the sky he saw Kyle hanging there. "Kyle! SON!" he yelled but it seemed to fall on def ears. He looked around and saw Casanova - wearing a ski mask and hoodie - as to not be identified-
"Ah Horatio Caine has arrived." Casanova said over a loud speaker. "My on lookers! Look at the spectacle. Look at the main attraction! Father trying to save his Son! Ahh isnt it beautiful!"
Horatio was trying to recognize Casanova's voice. Trying to figure out who he was. "Casanova!" he yelled putting his emotions in check no matter what happened from here on out. "Take me." he said - "Put me up there.. Kyle still has a life to live.. Mine is over." he said - wondering if it would work.
Casanova laughed, and then a thought hit him. If he had Horatio Caine hanging from there instead of his Son. All the world would be watching because all the world knew Horatio Caine. "My lovely assistant will do the work for me!"
She approached him from behind - grabbed his arm, and made him follow her. "Your going to die today" was all she said as she waited for Kyle to be lowered so she could tie him up. "Now dont fight. Or the line that's holding your son will be severed and he will fall face first into cement." she said and almost laughed.
Ryan had to hold himself back. "Horatio - Dont!" he yelled, but he realized that no matter what he said - Horatio just wanted to ensure Kyle's safety. They where stuck - no way out of the situation Ryan knew, since the causeway was blocked by traffic - Horatio was doing the only thing he could do.
Kyle fell lower and lower slowly - but finally his body hit the ground and Horatio wanted so badly to touch him but he'd already been cuffed. He grunted as she pushed him down with his good leg and he fell on his back.
The assistant laughed a little more as she undid Kyles ropes and tied them to his father. "Any other cops here - you can come claim the boy."
Ryan started to walk toward Kyle - wary that something may happen to him as he approached. This was probably the craziest thing he'd ever been involved in - and wondered how it was happening - He walked over to Kyle and lifted him up over his shoulder. "Horatio - I wont let anything happen to him I promise." he said looking at the desperate look on Horatio's face.
Horatio nodded - but said nothing more. Closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
Casanova laughed. "Its interesting - you see Lieutenant - Your back up officers cant come to you because we're stuck in the middle of this causeway- and all of the traffic is stopped so the only way they could get here is by walking - and what good would that do them - Hmmm...? So now you are my victim." he laughed even harder now.
Horatio watched as the ground started to dissipate into nothing he wasnt afraid of anything - even heights. And he knew his demise was coming soon - sooner rather than later the little area where he'd just been standing had gone - and all he saw where ants. And then an abrupt stop and it jolted his body. He could still hear Casanova talking could feel the blood rushing to his head, it was making him woozy. And every time the wind blew he was rocked back and forth - causing him to have motion sickness.
Casanova from the ground was talking to Ryan. "Take the kid to the hospital - leave Horatio with me!" he said laughing knowing that that wasnt an option to begin with.
Ryan snarled, wanted to see a sniper somewhere. But that too was hopeless. Casanova had his hand on the emergency release button meaning that if something happened and he jolted - being shot for instance - Ryan thought - Horatio would plummet to the earth and all of his bones in his body regardless of how padded the ground was - would be crushed in an instant.
Kyle started to stir- "D..dad?" he asked looking around the hummer. "Da...dad?"
Ryan heard him and ran to the hummer. "Horatio's - he's ..." he stopped. "He saved your life." he said-
Kyle looked at him. "Where's my dad?" he asked and looked around.
"He's up there... he took your place... so you would be alright." Ryan explained.
Kyle looked up and then at Ryan. "He... he saved me?"
Ryan nodded. They where in quite the predicament - and Ryan didnt know what to do. ----
Casanova was so happy at this point that it couldnt have worked out any better- "Ah Horatio. Do you know who I am now?!" he asked as loud as he could - "You remember dont you?"
Horatio was groggy - he couldnt think strait - it was getting harder and harder to breathe.
Casanova laughed. "I - am the son of the man you killed - The son of Antonio Riaz."
That shot Horatio back awake, and he shook his head. Antonio Riaz had a son... Horatio's mind was zooming and he couldnt believe it. How could he and Eric have missed it.
Casanova laughed. "I was only but a child when you took your revenge out on my father. You killed him in cold blood. And now - your son will know what its like to live without the father he so desperately needed!"
Horatio felt a jolt as for a short moment he started to free fall without any breaks. He wanted to scream - at the top of his lungs but he couldnt. He just closed his eyes. And then he jolted hard and he was sure that his neck broke. But he still hung - was still conscious.
Casanova laughed. "Had enough yet Horatio?" he asked.
Horatio waited a moment for his mind to clear - felt as though he was in a dream. Maybe he was, he wondered. He could feel pain - which wasnt a good sign. He shifted a little - even if he could get the ties undone - he would only be falling to his death.
Casanova laughed louder. "Horatio - Miami is mine."

Ok, Cassity. In interesting chapter for certain. I'm not quite sure what to make of the curve ball you've thrown with adding Riaz's son into the mix, but I can't wait to see where you take it next. Hopefully the team will be able to come together and get H out of this mess.
