It reminds me of the one CSI New York episode about the time machine. o.O Sort of...

Looks like they found another fancy, new gizmo to show off. Thanks for this.

Only a few more hours and the last part of Season 7 gets underway. Where do you want the series to go and what would you like to see happen for the ramainder of this year? Is Horatio really getting "darker" whatever that means? Will Delko and Calleigh make a decision regarding their feelings towards each other? Will Julia and Kyle continue being a part of Horatio's life? Same question for Yelina and Ray, Jr.? (Where is he anyway?) Will the team be more in evidence or are we still going to get "two to a scene" set-ups? I know what I'd like to see, but what do all of you think?

I'll respond to this later as I am too tired tonight, but I agree with CC for several reasons.

I think the only thing I liked... was Horatio. And what was up with the 'machine'? That wasn't anything 'advanced' or 'new'. Anyway, preview for next week looked good. Russians, eh... the horse racing angle is what I'm looking forward to. *determined to see Horatio near a horse*

In my opinion a "show's return" (after a (holiday-)break or a new season start), should be an exciting one to keep the viewers tuned in for the next epi.......Reading your reply's so far, I understand it wasn't that exciting at all. That's too bad. Can't wait to read more info about it, though. Sandra

I have to disagree, I guess. I thought the episode was quite good. The murder played out in a different way than we've ever seen before. It was nice to get away from the same ol', same ol'. Also, no one-liner. I honestly didn't mind. While it's fun to have H put the 'button' on the scene, those buttons have been THE source for Miami criticism. Without a one-liner, there's much less to complain about. I enjoyed the second conversation Cal and Eric had about their relationship. I'm glad she stood up to him slightly. She's forcing him to be a man. If he wants to be with her, he's going to have to tell her, rather than just hope she gets the picture. Also...H in a labcoat. What's not to like? em

I guess so, Sanne. The couple and friend I watched the epi with certainly liked it. And they're casual Miami fans. Two of them watch weekly, but are not, by any means, hard core fans. So they're not quite as easy to please.
I have a feeling (already) that I'll be outnumbered by people who thought the epi was either mediocre or just disappointing. Oh well. I'm glad that I enjoyed it.
