I see from CSI files that the TPTB have pinched Karen's idea of linking all the CSI's across 1 week. Karen has proposed this kind of cross-over here & on Dojo - Karen ,they really should invite you on to the writers' team. Love Mandy

I noticed that as well.....great isn't it. Really seems as if they finally listened.....Or maybe Karen is hired by CBS to join us for an undercover-mission....her task? Find out what the fans want and report back to the producers...... ;D Sandra

Hmmm, I should have a little talk with Karen then... ;D ;D

Yes Karen, we have always said we will provide tptb with a CV if required. Well none is required now! Well done!

What? ? I have yet to see this. Should I start checking my mailbox for a handsome check? Probably not. Maybe the producers/writers have stopped writing ideas on their wall and are reading our suggestions instead. Wow, though. I gotta check this out. Karen P, S, Okay, I have now read the CSI File article. By having Fishburne do the traveling instead of Horatio, I am sure it becomes "their" idea and not mine. And to think tptb are planning this for "sweeps week" is incredible. Should I keep the rest of my ideas to myself or toss them out here to see if they are picked up again? Kinda makes one wonder.

Nah, send an email comgratulating them on using your material and offering more. Dangle the carrot but just enough to give them a sniff, not a bite, until they send the cheque! Ah, my altruism is all but dead today.

Any check received probably would not cover the cost of having to join Screen Writers' Guild. Such is the way of unions. But we can dream, can't we?

Agree, we never stop dreaming Karen. Life is full of dreams.
I am sure I have been told this before but I have forgotten. What is "Sweeps Week?"

Agree, we never stop dreaming Karen. Life is full of dreams. I am sure I have been told this before but I have forgotten. What is "Sweeps Week?" Margaret @margaret: "Sweeps" week is that period of time usually in November and February when all of the current shows put out their best episodes. The Nielsen ratings are all important as advertisers see who's on top. What they will pay for a few seconds of air time often determines whether a show will be renewed or not. If the ratings are low, a show can get canceled. Karen

Thank you for explaining Karen.......so I take it this is why we suddenly get those Nielsen listings appearing on the board. I now see the significance of the interest in the placings.
