From the upcoming episode co-starring Sean Combs (P Diddy). This article was found at www.people.com/people/article/0,,20247896,00.html?xid=rss-topheadlines His successes in music and fashion came quickly, but Sean "Diddy" Combs, who has vowed to aggressively pursue an acting career, is taking that challenge one role at a time. In this photo exclusive to PEOPLE, Combs goes toe-to-toe with David Caruso on the set of the CBS hit CSI: Miami. He filmed the part of defense attorney Derek Powell on Wednesday for an episode that will air in February 2009. As Combs, 39, explains it to PEOPLE, he met with CBS executives and told them, "I don't want to play no musician, I don't want to play a criminal – none of those stereotypical things. I want to play a lawyer." He's thrilled to be on one of "the biggest shows in the world," Combs says. "The CSI: Miami team is like the Yankees. Me coming on the set, I'm like a Little League player with the Yankees. [David Caruso], he's like Obi-Wan Kenobi or something! He taught me so much and let me ask questions and protected me. He's like the coach of the team." em

That's quite an endorsement, isn't it? This was great to see. Thank you, em, for posting it.

Nice picture Em, thanks for sharing. Though I have to say, that I'm not overly thrilled about Mr. Sean Diddy Combs, Piff Puff Puppy (or whatever his name is at the moment) being in the show.

Jess, you make me laugh. I'm not a huge fan of his, but I don't mind him appearing on the show. And I love what he had to say about David. Obi Wan, eh? Nice! em

I think the praise he gave David was awesome though, and they're getting big names in which will raise the ratings, which is nice because I've noticed that CSI: New York has had alot, ALOT of celebs on there....
So yeah I'm kind of excited, and glad to hear that he's excited to work with David, one of the few people to be around someone we love so much ^.^

Mhm.. Obi Wan.... it should be Yoda, but that would lead into some definitely off topic things. Yes, it's nice what he said.. absolutely.... and I'm curious to see of how serious we can take him as a lawyer. Jess

From the looks of the way Horatio is staring at him, I'd say... Not to serious...
I just totally had a thought hit me.. What if somehow he's Ron Sarius' Lawyer or something....
Hmmm.. -ponders-
I wonder xD

Nice pic and an even better article. Not a particular "Combs-fan", but who knows...he might be able to add something nice to the epi. And the things he says about David is really nice. Well....seems as if P. Diddy is a nice guy after all ;D Sandra

Very nice pic and very nice article. Seems as if P.Diddy wants to give his carreer a new aspect, but it's really nice what he's saying about DC and the team. 2009? Well, then it will become 2010 before I'll be able to watch it...
