Yep, a great read and really balanced perspective, for once. So there are flowers amongst the weeds. Anybody interested in a working bee?? To spray obnoxious weeds?
Sorry mods. Just couldn't help myself.

What a great article! Thanks so much for sharing Krystal! It's good to read praises about his fine acting. Sometimes it seems that people of great talent are just not appreciated as much as they should be. He has created an icon for years and years to come. And what a great job he has done!

Yeah I read this article from Dojo's blog and found it an interesting read. The writer has taken an analytical look at DCs performance and pointed out that his mannerisms are done to create an effect. There is that much trash written about him from people who accuse him of bad acting, that is nice to see someone has taken the time to dig a little deeper. Would Miami be as popular if the lead was a more explosive, predictable cop? I doubt it. DC certainly has a uniqueness about him. But then we all know that anyway. Thanks for the link. Lee.

Thanks for the link. It was an interesting read and it got me thinking.
In my mind I started to compare Caruso's Caine and Depp's Sparrow (Captain Sparrow, sorry). Those two characters are like a night and day, cats and dogs. But there are similarities. They fight for what they believe in, they are good men. And both Caruso and Depp have created something that will last long after the cameras are shut down. Horatio Caine will live on, why? Because he is something we all need, we need the tragic hero, someone who is strong but vulnerable. And maybe Caruso knew that... We need Caine just as we need Captain Sparrow, it's all about balance.
And it is nice to read positive things about our man.
