www.buffalonews.com/entertainment/story/355023.htmlHmmm, this is an interesting read. Well, we all know David is gonna return, he's got a contract till the ninth season (I think that's right) and he'll probably sign on again when that one is up. I don't agree with the author's logic on the Ryan Wolf character, just because Horatio has believed and supported him in the past. But, I've been wrong before. I hope I'm not this time. I don't have an attachment to Ryan, like I do to Horatio, or even Frank. But, believing he 'dropped a dime' and put a hit out on Horatio is just too unbelivable for me right now. Another thing I think he got wrong, and it's a minor thing, is that I think he said Horatio got shot in the back, I don't think that's the case, I think he got shot from the front by the way he jerked when the bullet hit him. Besides, we would have seen evidence of it on his back. Any thoughts?

Hey Krystal That article was full of inconsistencies. Did he even watch the episode? He said that H was stood up by Elizabeth Berkley, but we don't know that. We don't know what time it was when H stepped of the plane, he might have been early, Julia might have been on the plane. I don't think he was shot in the back either, it certainly didn't look like it. As for Ryan, Donahue and co are just lining up the suspects. Like Kyle with the gun and Julia making off an hour before she was due to meet H. I do think there was some sort of set-up between H and Ryan, though I'm not sure that it went quite to plan. Our poor red head did look like he was in trouble. Lee.

I haven't seen the epi, but from your comments I guess it IS a set-up and H is involved in the plan. David is returning for sure.....and I don't think Jonathan is leaving either, because if he would, we would most likely already have read that somewhere. Lots of specualations but not really based on solid ground...... Sandra

Krystal, I haven't seen any episode of season 6 as yet. If we are lucky this will start at the end of July and we will not see the final one till Christmas. So, I can only go by what I have read so far from the members on this board who have made comment thus far. But, like Sandra I believe this is one big set up. Horatio was probably wearing some protection type jacket that when he was shot also let some blood like looking fluid spill out and if this is the case I would say he was shot from the front. I also think Ryan was in on the act. From what I hear there are so many inconsistences in that report that the mind boggles. Of course H will be back we already know that so I don't know what they are playing at in that report. Media just trying to stir the public up I guess........but, we all have more faith in our Redhead don't we HE WILL BE BACK Margaret

Like you, I haven't seen any ep of season6 and I'm only an observer of the discussion, but just the same thing crossed my mind as I read about the ending of season 6 (wonderful review of Karen) and saw the pictures... And it would match completely with the way the authors have built up the figure of Horatio Caine. Standing like a biiiig, largely visible plain target on an open air-field after all the bullets buzzing around only a few moments before and then don't caring about any protection or back-up? - Never! - Well, only my two-cents on it. And about the article... Sometimes it's hard to get well researched articles of good journalists, isn't it? You can't imagine how many mistakes they're able to mix in even a simple story... Note: I have to add something after reading through the article again... I don't like the way it's written. It sucks... the author seems to be very cynical - as if he/she doesn't like none of the shows...

You shared this with me before you posted it...Loved the read...did disturb me a bit...well, I'm already disturbed, but now even more...But ofcourse H will be back...he's the new kind of action hero, the one that doesn't die.
