Should be a fun one. I heard this episode was done in retaliation for the last episode of 'The Bachelor' because they beat "Miami" in the ratings for the first time ever.

Tonight we find a very compassionate Horatio in a bevy of beautiful babes. He is charming, he is tenacious, he is absolutely in top form and DC is enjoying every minute of this episode.
The plot centered around the reality show "Bachelor" which, as mentioned above, beat "Miami" in the ratings during their last episode of the season. Lots of suspects, an unusual weapon and twists galore.
Calleigh and Eric gave the shippers their thrill with a few moments of banter. She used to watch the show in question, but no longer does now that she has another interest. In my humble opinion ---- Blah!
Their were a couple of good lines although Horatio's "reality becomes real" left me flat. When he and Frank interviewed a stalker, the perp wanted to know why he was being arrested because all he did was take a little peek through the window. Horatio succinctly replied "Its a little thing we like to call . . . . trespassing." Nice one. Frank was his usual sardonic self, and Valera revealed that she would rather read a book than watch TV. Ryan replied that old books often contained lead paint and reading could be dangerous to her health.
Kyle noticed Dr. Tara popping a pill and called her on it. She said it was aspirin. I think he made a mistake when he told her it didn't look like aspirin to him as she told him she didn't have to answer to him and when he turned his back she gave him one of those "if looks could kill" glances. More trouble ahead with this plot I'm sure.
Final moments gave Horatio a chance to shine again as he finds one of the contestants who went missing. He found her in an ice chest and he tore off his jacket to give her warmth. This actress did a wonderful job of shivering and DC did a really great job of wrapping not only his jacket but his arms around her in comforting embrace ---- just like the old days in seasons 1 and 2. It is episodes like this that keep me watching this show. A real hum-dinger! Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
