Looks like most of the action for this episode will actually happen next week. Tonights offering got all the marbles in place for what looks like a humdinger conclusion. We were told to expect something unusual from Horatio. Unless it was his being a touch rough with a perp, I failed to see it. He and Calleigh worked this action scene together quite well, but the suspect was blown away ---- literally.
As explained in the Spoiler above, someone is after the entire team and it does appear to be the Russians with Sarnoff pulling the strings from prison. He and Horatio had an excellent encounter with DC flashing those malevolent smiles he does so well --- lots of them.
The opening was intense with a young woman, Megan, fighting for her life after being stabbed. Horatio arrives on the scene, but for the second week in a row says absolutely nothing. Hmmmm. How do we feel about that?
Calleigh came under attack while she was working a crime scene alone. Eric showed up after all the action took place but the suspect once again got away. Calleigh should have waited for Eric before she entered the crime scene alone.
Ryan had several excellent scenes --- some of them included avoiding a dog, and later talking to a pretty young thing who was tending the kennel where the dog was being boarded. He also was kidnapped at the end and the beating we have been seeing in the promos happened at that time.
Natalia worked with Horatio and Frank did a bit of this n' that. Eric got to interview a paparazzi and the eyeball to eyeball scene between the two was very well done. Only one dead body tonight and it wasn't Horatio's kill.
Looking forward to next week.

Yeah- I dont know how I feel about no one liners -
I do have to say that those smiles from Horatio and the laugh was just freakin amazing and my heart got warm when he did laugh - He has the most interesting laugh I've ever heard..
The part with the dog made me laugh really hard- Ryan did amazing there -
Although there was no action much for Horatio except in the end - I thought it was interesting that the Russian in the back of the car was shot - and Horatio wasnt - because of the way they where standing - They could have killed Horatio - if you think about it.
I was happy with this episode - it was okay- But like you said I think the best episode will be next week which - I hate the preview they gave us because I want to see it really bad -
All in all David's acting was awesome -
Oh and the whole thing with Calliegh - I was like - When she said "I'll see you in five" and hung up I was like "No you wooonnnnt!" XD
Uhm -I had a few more comments but I cant remember what I was going to say -
All in all - It was an alright episode - all of the acting was amazing as usual - and Next weeks episode looks like its going to bring CSI: Miami ... "Full Circle"

I enjoyed this episode. Watching the victim at the beginning of the episode struggle to survive was heart wrenching. My only problem is I did not get to see the previews for next week. For some reason my local CBS affiliate likes to throw an extra commercial over the previews. They have done this for the last three weeks and last night I was screaming at my TV after they cut the preview......
Can anyone tell me what they showed in the preview?

In the next preview it showed Ryan getting beaten a little because he didn't want to help the guy who was beating him, but Ryan eventually let up and agreed so it just shows him working and whatnot.
I actually missed most of the episode and caught the ending because I was in Florida, but from what I've heard, it sounds pretty cool. Gotta check it out! =) Thanks for the review Karen, it helped me out!
