The airplane setting was the star of this show. Most activity revolved around solving the murder of a flight attendant and we saw the cargo hold, both second and first class seating, the lavatory, and something called the "romper room" which is not a baby changing station! The plane was stationary throughout and visions of Calleigh and Eric sharing champaign in first class were just that ---- someone's vision.
Ryan and Natalia indulged in a little office gossip with Ryan sharing his suspicions without naming names --- but Natalia really didn't need them. Cute interaction here.
Kyle looks like he is following the tradition established by Alexx by being reverent and caring with the corpse. Nice scene with him at the end when he puts the corpse away.
Horatio worked with Ryan in the lab, discussed evidence and questioned suspects. No opening "one liner" (in fact he kept totally silent) which we haven't seen for awhile. This was not a "Horatio-centric" episode.
Ryan, Calleigh and Delko were the featured 3, with Frank and Natalia getting a few nice moments. Valera seems to have stopped experimenting with her hair and I enjoyed the few moments she had on screen.
Regarding the promo pics for this episode, I recall saying the lady in the yellow dress could have been a process server. She wasn't.

I'll add just one thing--There was a splendidly wonderful (although brief) scene where H and Kyle got to work together. I'm hoping that this was just the first of many to come. How special it was to see father and son together. Fighting crime. Good episode. Nothing spectacular. But good. Next week, though, the roller coaster begins! em

I really enjoyed this episode - everyone was involved from H to Valera. There was a mix of every emotion from suspense to analyzing the evidence to brief "romantic interludes" (Eric daydreaming about Calleigh on the plane and the loving - yet still professional - glances they shared in the lab -- just enough to assure the viewer that their relationship is headed in the right direction! And the scenes with Kyle were so heartwarming - I loved the one where he and H were trying to find evidence on the flight attendant's outfit - father and son working together! (TPTB could not have found a more perfect "son" for our H!) And the scene at the end where Kyle was putting the body of the dead woman away certainly shows that he is growing up right before our eyes. These are the scenes that truly make a good show great.
And from the promo for next week's show, we can be certain that we will be in for a thrilling ride right to the end of the season - you can feel the intensity building inside! Can't wait!

I totally enjoyed this episode...BUT!!..this is the second episode in a row with no 1-liner!..whats up??..we all live for those 1-liners..the writers must know this!
also the new lab tech..when I saw him in the last episode I had to laugh....He is the Rapist that Horatio put in jail in "Spring Break"...he grew a beard to look different .....and the torturer from the epi about the professor hung in the tree...is this guy thats in jail thats after the team...they just gave him a crew cut the women who played Anna Savaro played a Dr. 3 or 4 epi's ago...
wonder if they think we don't remember who played what in what season......

I'm starting to notice they're bringing people back too! OMG. There's been a few I'm like 'WAIT HE TRIED TO KILL HORATIO IN THE FIRST SEASON! The heck." xD
But I do have to agree it its great to see Horatio and Kyle IN THE LAB together! That was simply amazing.
But - it was none the less a filler for the next two! I cannot Wait!

The new lab tech (named Dave Benton) is played by Wes Ramsey. Not the same guy. I assume you mean the professor from "A Horrible Mind". That was Lenny von Dohlen. The character in Jail (Ivan Sergei) is played by Greg Donner. Same thing for the actress who played Anna Sivarro. They look similar, but it wasn't her. The most obvious re-use of an actor (that I can recall) was the guy who played the baddie Juan Ortega in "Going Ballistic" and "Resurrection". He was also the baddie in "Simple Man". To me, that one stuck out like a sore thumb. But I haven't noticed any other major character actors being reused this season. em

I guess they just don't think we pay that close attention. But...I mean...come on. It's Horatio we're watching. We pay attention to EVERYTHING, right? em
