I have this pic from "Into the Homeland" (1987). I'm sure you all know it already. It seems to be the only one that can be found from this movie. I've been searching but only found that the movie is also known as "Swallows come back". I also found this David's pic supposed taken while filming the movie. I don't know if that's right, but the pic is lovely. Hope you like it. BTW, does anybody have more pics from the movie, some caps or further information to share? Gonsy

I do have this movie and suspect the second picture was taken during the time of filming simply because DC's character wore a plaid shirt in it. I have never seen it before so thanks for posting it. (The chest hair enthusiasts will go wild!)

Not seen that second one before, nice pic. Plaid shirt mmm... sexy! I've not seen the film either I think that it's one of those that they put on obscure TV channels. Thanks for the pics. Lee.

@ Karen, maybe you can tell us something about DC's role in this movie? Gonsy

I have the movie but have not been able to convert to DVD yet. It is a powerful++ movie, so much so that I forgot I was watching DC, so absorbed by his character and the story. The movie is very confronting and could be considered uncomfortable. The only review I have found was on an American-Italian White Separatist Group site (!!)

gonsy: It's been quite awhile since I have seen this movie so will have to put some thinking time in on this. But, David's role was that of an ultra-conservative member of a camp --- the kind of place that involves religious fanatics and guns --- white supremists. He's a capable and conscientious follower and doesn't flinch when called upon to something "for the cause". Karen

I thought of Davids "Ryder" character as an evil, malicious white male; one of those crazed fringe dwellers that attach themselves to a cause as a means of perpetrating and condoning their own lust for violence. And he does it so well that you truly dislike this character and hope his come-uppance(?) comes soon. In searching for movie reviews (almost zilch) I came upon a site that discusses the movie with others such as "American History X" (I haven't seen it). It is the site of the American-Italian White Separatist Front. They consider these movies to be Jewish propaganda. The article ends with a paragraph stating that "As this website is being monitored by the FBI....". I hope the FBI aren't now watching me. In any case, the film was quite remarkable and underscores the importance of the subject, which I hope Karen reviews in depth.

I came upon a site that discusses the movie with others such as "American History X" (I haven't seen it). American History X is a very violent, graphic film. i saw it about 10 years ago. me and my mates were told that it was a very good film so we all watched it. it horrified me! its not for the faint hearted and i would never watch it again. it was quite disturbing for me! i would like to see Into the Homeland but like many other of DC's films it will probably be hard to come by! BTW CHESTHAIR!! love it! ;D luv sam x
