Wow... the thread is actually working! Very promising! ;D Yeah! Things are back to normal. This unique episode was both horrible and magnificent at the same time. It is distinguished from some others by a lot of dialog --- arguments galore, betrayals, confusion, and steadfast Horatio plowing through the muddy waters to a sad conclusion. Also new to the series was the glimpse into the personal lives of Ryan, Eric and Calleigh as they get the call to come to a crime scene. We see a messy Delko in contrast to his meticulousness at work; we see Jonathan dropping a child off to school (another unwed father? ) we see Calleigh out for an early morning run; and as they gather together, Horatio succinctly says "Let's get to work." I really liked Reggie and loved how Frank stuck up for his old partner in the face of mounting evidence against him. Calleigh was suspicious of Reggie and found herself disagreeing with Delko and Frank. Horatio kept an open mind to the controversy for as long as he could. When he had to act, he did. Dr. Tara is coming along nicely. She is earning the respect of the others by being totally professional and conscientious. Will be looking forward to the review and to further reactions from those who got to see it tonight. No previews shown for next week so I suspect a rerun for Dec.1. Karen

Karen--when I saw your sentence about the episode being both "horrible and magnificent", I briefly panicked! Horrible? HORRIBLE?? I thought to myself. Then I realized what you meant, and I agree 110%.
Words cannot express how satisfied and thrilled I am with this episode. It raised so many questions about our team (which I like), it showed that they are not always in agreement (which is realistic), and that sometimes those you care for and trust are not who/what you want them to be.
There was one scene in particular that made me freeze. I told my friend to rewind it, because I wasn't sure if I had imagined it! Karen--I'm sure you'll know which scene I'm speaking of. When H turns to Reggie after finding him outside the girl's house, and he says, "Man, what are you doing here?" It wasn't necessarily WHAT H said but HOW he said it that stunned me. I threw my hands up in the air and cried Hallelujah! David is finally acting again!
Then there was a scene in which we see H and Eric talking and walking down a hallway (H is leading the way) and H ducks into the evidence room to show Eric something. I know Amy will get this...H MOVED! He walked and talked at the same time. And nothing about it was stilted.
Emily P. turned in her best performance in years. There was an intensity that she's been lacking for too long. She did a nice job portraying Calleigh's conflicted emotions. Both Cal and H were in difficult situations and it came across clearly.
Okay...I should stop now before I start talking in circles. But before I go, I want to say--This, in my opinion, is the most interesting episode since Under Suspicion way back in season 4. I absolutely love the direction in which Miami seems to suddenly be heading. Let's hope they keep it up...

Wow! I really enjoyed this episode! I felt the classic CSI Miami! This season is really great! I'm enjoying this season.
I was liking how we got to see their personal lives and Ryan's part really surprised me. He is a father? Did they talk about this at all? If they did, I must have missed it.
I really loved Calleigh and Horatio in this episode. Especially when Calleigh was in the elevator with Reggie. You could see the intensity in her eyes. Everything was great in this episode, I really liked it.
I'm sad there won't be a new episode next week. But, overall, I loved his episode and I'm loving this season!

Another thought I just had...It was rewarding to see H in a position of authority--over actual detectives and not just his CSIs. I don't think we've ever seen H display that kind of authority before other than at a crime scene. This was in the PD, and I found it utterly fascinating. Nice change from the norm...

Another great episode - Season 7 is surely turning into one fantastic one. So getting back to early CSIM seasons - finally!
I, too, did a double - and triple! - take when H turned to Reggie and said, "Man! What are you doing here?" Did not expect that at all! Great, just great! Loved seeing the different sides of the other members of the team - especially Ryan and the little boy - where is this going to lead?
What "worried" me the most tho was the ending where Reggie and H were in the interrogation room, sitting back to back, both obviously lost in their own world as Reggie agonized over what he had done. What was our H thinking? Is this an omen of things to come for our hero? While the rest of the team - and Calleigh in particular -- are showing strength and expertise in their jobs, H seems to be getting more affected by the cases as they come along - for example, how he relates to Julia and Kyle, how he reacted to the situation where Salucci killed the man who killed his daughter. It's as tho he is slowly unraveling (for loss of a better word) right before our eyes. Of course, this is my only my opinion. And I really don't know where it's going to lead - but with the way Season 7 has been going, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
