Hey there everyone! I was wondering if I could have your help?
You see. Cassity and I want to do a nice little competition of RPing Horatio Caine, and we were hoping both of you wouldn't mind voting to see who the best Horatio Caine Rper is? It's just a little fun competition.
Cassity and I will post a scene of Horatio, and some dialogue as well and we want you to vote on who Rped Horatio the best? If you could, that'd be awesome.
Thanks so much! =) =) and comments are welcome!

Here's my reply to this...
Its called
"Off The Clock"
Horatio Caine had made the choice to allow Ryan Wolfe the day off today. He figured he'd needed it, and that was one thing that Horatio Caine could not do. He couldnt take the day off, since, he worked the day shift. He was at the lab almost twenty four seven anyways, and he didnt mind, the job never got old, for him, it was his personality and it gave him the option of pushing the night shift around when the Lieutenant wasnt there. Which made him feel good. Because he'd never push his team around, but for some odd reason he loved to annoy them..
He'd missed Ryan's ever vigorious presence at the lab, the kid was so good at what he did, and he knew it from the moment Yelena had introduced them. He was like a son to Horatio and when he'd been injured, Horatio'd felt like he'd let him down, since only an hour before he was where Ryan was. But that was never discussed by them never talked about, between them.
After Tim Speedle had died, in his arms no less, which seemed like a common theme in his life, alot... He'd felt he'd never have the same relationship he'd had with Speedle he had with anyone else, Speedle he knew worshiped the land he walked on, and looked up to him like a dad, or a leader. And then he'd been murdered and Horatio's bloodstained world had turned upside down.
Then Ryan came along, a few months after Speedle went down, and something in him was telling him this was the right choice, however Ryan had messed up, lost his job almost twice... and Horatio knew that he could no longer ...help him with Rick. Rick wanted him to be cut off from the lab for good, and the last time Horatio had saved him, saved his job there was regret in him.
He sighed as he sat alone in his office, looking blankly at the computer, waiting for another case to come across his desk. He was too lazy this morning to get up and go out and see what everyone was up to, since, he figured they would end up coming to him anyways.
He sighed and thought about emailing Kyle...but he knew Juila would read it..and then he thought about going and seeing his son...son, Horatio Caine had a son... and he just, was still having trouble wrapping his head around the idea...
Horatio had a job to do, and today he didnt feel like doing it... he just sat blankly now staring at a picture of Kyle, of Ryan, Calliegh, Eric, Himself, all together, it was under the glass on his desk, by his keyboard.. alot had happeend to him in the years he'd been a cop, some of it good, most of it bad, and he wondered, how he was still alive...
Then that urge came back, and overwhelmed him, the same one that had almost taken his life two years ago...
He pulled his gun out, of its holster, and lay it in his lap... there was no real reason at the moment to be as depressed as he was... none..except being lost in his past, and maybe it was going to all blow up, and he'd end up taking his own life...
He'd almost done it when Marisol had died....he was so close, he still could remember the taste of gun powder and blood in the mouth...
He put the pistol on his desk and stare at it... he knew what would happen if he was gone.. he'd already had to fake his own death once... and all hell broke loose in the lab...
Horatio sighed, and pulled his golden lieutenant shield off as well, and set it next to his gun.. stood up and walked over to the window that overlooked the outside... infront of the lab.
"I am not a cop.." he told himself.. he was lost for some reason he couldnt understand.
"I am, a Lieutenant, I am a Crime Scene Investigator..." he murmured... and turned his head to look at his Shield and gun.. "But I am not a Cop.." he wondered what the hell he was saying...
Horatio had been dealing with a feeling of immortality ever since Speedle had died, he thought that maybe he was immortal, and couldnt be killed, he knew that wasnt possible but somewhere deep down in the back of his mind he wanted to believe it. Horatio sighed and set his shield back down.
He walked up to the window that was beside his office door, pulled his arm back and clenched his hand into a fist, Thinking about throwing it through the glass, but instead, he didnt, he couldnt.. it wasnt who he was, no he had cases to work things to do, he couldnt just sit and pretend to think he was immortal, he had to serve and protect.
Horatio Caine moved away from the glass window and sit down on the couch in his office. Put his hands to his face, and then his face to his lap, and he tried to take deep breaths to calm himself.
After he was done Horatio moved to pick up his shield and gun, and decided it best not to think those thoughts that had been with him earlier. It wasnt worth it.
Slowly he opened his office door, and walked out of it.. He sighed when he noticed all of the people still here, even though it was almost night. He was impressed too, by their desire to work so late,
Horatio had been out of it a few days now living in his past, and he wondered if he was growing complacent in his job. Could he ever get to that point, where he just lived and breathed the job, and nothing else, or was he already there for that matter. He didnt know.
Horatio lopely walked down to the main office, and shifted his weight when he came to a dead stop adjusting his shield and pistol at his waist, he pulled the shades of justice off of his neck and walked slowly outside into the sunset air. He could already see the crooked white orb in the sky as it hung low and full.
He just stand on the steps watching cars drive by, officers dropping off thier patrol cars, and getting into their real cars, and he realized, at that moment that this was, where he belonged, and the only place he belonged, and that he wouldnt change it for the world. And he knew that deep down the world, wouldnt change for him.
Horatio Caine smiled up at the moon for a moment. "The world doesnt change for us..." he said starting to walk. "We change the world."

(Well, here is mine! I mostly focused on dialogue as Horatio would talk and such. I thought showin more dialogue and looking more like him would be better than a lot of other details. So yeah, I focused on his actions and dialogue. It's not as long, but I just thought of it so here it is!) =)
It was only a few minutes ago that Horatio had received a call about a murder over on Cascade Drive. And of course, Horatio was ready to get to work and figure out who caused the murder, because Horatio wasn't one to give up until the murderer was behind bars...He had already received some information regarding the murder. It was a shot to the head. An entrance and exit wound and they have yet to find the casing to identify the type of bullet used to kill the person. Horatio trusted his team and knew they would do everything they could to get him the answers, he needed.
Pulling up to the stree, and climbing out of the hummer, Horatio shut the door and made his way up the driveway and to the house, taking off his shades and fiddling with them as he looked over the house. Walking in, Horatio carefully examined the inside of the house, while looking in the direction of the kitchen, where the murder took place, about to head there, he stopped when he heard a sound, sounding like a bang. Curious, Horatio turned left and made his way down the hall, slowly taking out his gun, pointing it to the ground, yet being very cautious and careful. "Anyone in here?" Horatio asked, waiting for an answer. Silence. Walking in the room, he saw nothing and yet he heard the same bang, this time it came from the small closet. Slowly walking to it, he reached over and quickly opened it, still holding his gun, only to find a scared woman, hiding in the closet. "Mam?" Horatio asked, putting his gone away. "Ma'am. My name is Horatio Caine, I'm a police officer," He informed her, using his calm voice. She seemed to be in her early twenties. She seemed very scared. "I'm not going to hurt you, I'm here to help you." He told her, with his warming smile. "You can come out. It's safe," He told her, reaching his hand out to her, hoping she would take it. "It's okay." He reassured her, waiting for her.
Then, she took his hand, and carefully holding it, she lead her to the bed. "Are you alright?" He asked omly to hear her talk about some bruises she has. He said, happy to see she was fine. "I know you're scared but I don't want you to worry. I'm here to help you, okay?" He asked, reassuring her. Then, Frank came in and informed Horatio about them finding the casing and all. "Alright. Thank you Frank," He said, smiling. "Okay. Ma'am. Here's what's going to happen. I'm going to take you to the police officers, and they are going to take you to the hospital to get you checked out and make sure you are okay," Horatio told her, noticing the small bruises. "If you need anything, or need to talk to me, call me. Here is my card," Horatio said, handing it to her. "Everything will be okay. I'm going to find out who did this," He said, giving her a comforting pat on the shoulder, before helping her up and leading her to the front yard, where the police were waiting.
Then, Calleigh came out, telling him what kind of bullet they had. It was a police issued hand gun, casing. "We've searched the house and we found some death threats to the victim. So, apparently he had enemies," Calleigh told him. "Then let's start with them," Horatio said, putting on his shades as he walked away. (CUE INTRO!) Haha jk. Hoped you liked it! =)

I loved both stories for different reasons.....Cassity managed to "catch" the toughts of H of which I truely believe he has them every now and then and a one-liner in the end: I can hear him say it......... Sharon, you brought up the caring H and also in a way I can hear him talking to the poor woman. This could be the start of the next CSI Miami-epi. After that last line when he walks away, putting his shades on, I can already hear The Who's intro "Won't get fooled again"........ Sandra

Thanks! We only had like 5-10 minutes to do it and that's what I came up with, I couldn't do it as long as Cassity's, even though I'm kinda not sure if that's even possible to do all that in about 5-10 minutes lol. But I did like Cassity's. Loved the details in it.
But thanks Sanne! =)

They are both great, I can't choose whose is the best. The thoughts that he has from the tragady in his past few years, it's nice to see a story about that side of him, the murder the soft side we see quite often. Brilliant ladies just brilliant.
