Tonight offers a repeat of "Stand Your Ground" the episode where someone tries to kill Calleigh. This is what the Columbus Dispatch's TV Plus magazine had to say about the episode. I was pleasantly suprised:
"Too bad Emmy has ignored this series--- at least where the acting is concerned--- because Emily Procter desrves a shot at a statue. That's evident in this episode, in which her character, Calleigh Duquesne, is almost hit by a car. She shoots at the vehicle, and it crashes into a store, where a woman is found dead. From Calleigh's guilt at possible having caused the death to her relief at learning the truth--- the woman was murdered--- Procter's acting is spot-on.
I thought that was too good not to share.

Oooh, Karen. Thanks for that! It's nice to see that not every journalist out there thinks that CSI: Miami is a joke. I've often thought that if anyone on the show stood a chance at an acting award it's Emily P. I'd watch tonight's episode, but I have to work.

Just saw this episode for the first time in the UK 4 weeks ago .......and must say Calleigh was pretty good in this one......getting plenty of screen time to show us what she can do.
Thanks for posting Karen.

I am so glad to hear this. But we all know this series deserves so much more positive attention. I'm about ready to toss TV Guide. Seems they always want to say something as if the series puts them to sleep. At least at night when I go to sleep - I'm happy with the Red that's does anything BUT put me to sleep. Can't remember the writer's name - might be Roush - and it may be the "Is it Just Me" - if not Cheers & Jeers. They don't do it all the time, but reminds me of how media molds things THIER way - you know, like who deserves to be President!
Thanks, Ms. Karen for this lovely bit of news. jt
