I tried to tell you before, Deborah (check your PM): there are quite a few stories that will never be updated, or finished, or have a sequel, simply because the writer doesn't login here anymore. Over the years we lost members because they lost interest (in this board, in the show or in Mr. David Caruso), or because real life just doesn't give them enough time to keep up with everything they used to keep up with..... Well Sandra I can't just go to the Pm's unless I get a response on my email first. I am not that profiecient with the computer. I can't figure out how to do it. So I am glad to be able to answer here on this board. I wish that whoever put stories on here could finish some of them. Oh well if it has to be, I guess it has to be, but it is very disappointing. And as for David Caruso He is just as human as the next person. So if they loose faith in him, then they weren't true fans in the first place. We all have faults and have no right to judge others. Deborah, you can read your PM's using this site. If you go to the homepage of this site (index-page), you see a message on top, just beneath the blue banner-header. Something like: Hi Deborah, you have 1 message, 1 is new. (Or: you have 4 messages, 2 are new, depending on how many messages you received and how many you have opened already.) Part of that is in blue. If you take your cursor to the blue part of the welcome-sentence, you can click on it and you go to your personal inbox. If that doesn't work, you can also scroll down on the index-page, to "Info Center". On the right side you see: "Total members", beneath that: "Newest member" and beneath that: "Your Personal Messages: ... (number of messages in your inbox) New: ... (number of messages you haven't read yet)". The numbers are shown in blue. If you click on the blue number you go to your inbox. These PM's (Personal Messages) are linked to this board and you can use it to send a message to another member, saying or asking something you don't need (or want) to be shown on the board directly and for everyone to read/respond to. This PM is apart from your "home-email-adress", it doesn't have anything to do with it. And I never said some members might have lost FAITH in Mr. Caruso, some just lost INTEREST in what he does. That's not quite the same thing. I used to be a huge fan of Duran Duran back in the 80's, but these days I really don't care about what they do or about their music anymore. Doesn't mean I lost faith in them, or I disrespect them or whatever. My taste in music just changed.....Can imagine that happens with actors as well. What you liked yesterday is not necessarily what you like today, is not necessarily what you like tomorrow. But I do agree it's sad that some stories will never be finished. Sandra

Just a small comment here.........it would be nice if the authors of unfinished stories could post the fact that they are not going to finish their story so that future readers didn't have to read through all of what has been written before they find there is no ending. (This is of course providing nothing has happened to them, that means they cannot possibly come on here anymore). Just disappearing because no longer interested is not good enough.
It would also stop future readers from ressurrecting an old story and bringing it back up to the top amongst the current on going stories, completely spoiling the line up. Personally, I think there should be two fan fiction sections........One for current on going stories and a second section for finished stories.......completed stories being relegated to the second section after say a period of 6 months. But, that is just my opinion.

Great idea, Margaret....and stories that haven't been updated in, let's say 6 months (maybe even after 4 months already), could be moved there as well, so everyone knows these stories are most likely never to be finished. Would be much clearer for everyone. You should bring this idea to Krystal's attention, Margaret, it's good. Sandra
