Hah I am going to give you another teaser.... *sly grin*
You know darling, you should know one thing. As you found out, I am not Eric Felix, but Peter Hydeberg. And now the part you should know…” his grin sent shivers down her back “… I killed all those women, I was accused of killing.” His mouth was smiling, but his eyes were cold.
Enjoy

"Daddy, read me a story?" a small redheaded boy asked his father. He was so small in the huge bed. And with the days to come, he would look even smaller. He was so young and very ill, terminal.
Horatio smiled at his son. "What would you like to hear?" It pained him to see his son suffering like that. The knwledge of loosing another loved one pained him heavier than anything else. No parent should ever bury their child.
"This one daddy." The small boy said handing the heavy book to his father with great difficulty. Horatio took it quickly and still the small frame shook with the exertion. "I love you daddy."Horatio petted the soft hair under his fingers "I love you too bug." And he started to read.
The small boy listened with a smile on his face, his breathing was difficult, but he egged his father on.
"The father a-shudders, he speeds like the wind, a-clutching his son, never looking behind, he reaches his home at his horse's last breath - but the face of his son now is shadowed by death."
The small boy looked at his father and rasped. "I love you daddy." With that the boy took his last breath.

Sorry, didn't mean to make anyone cry. :/ I just like to think that there is beauty in sadness and in despair. I see beauty where people see darkness, I look where people don't want to look. Ace

Mirror-image
Mirror, surface that reflects, reflects the truth the secrets, without mercy.
Two dead dots staring back, unblinking accusing.
You are the one to blame, You drove us to this emptiness without mercy.
Now it's too late.

4 o'clock
The floorboards creak under the steps. Tap, tap, tap, they go. Moon has yet to make way for the garish light of day, it still rules the skies enfolding the world in its gentle light.
The steps echo around the house, tap, tap, tap, they go. Only madness knows their name, their eternal shame. At four o'clock the moon bears the only witness, shadows whisper the name, floorboards creak under the weight, the steps echo... tap, tap, tap they go.
The dust lies on the ground like no one has ever disturbed it's peace, the echo makes the stillness seem heavy. Restlessly the steps continue their path, tap, tap, tap, they go, a choked sound- then silence.
The moon's fading light makes way to sun's first rays. The harsh light of day is blind to moon's madness. The only sound breaking the silence, is the gentle creaking of a rope swinging back and forth.
