Sounds interesting. Yay Marco Sanchez. He played on Seaquest & also on Walker Texas Ranger with Jim Wlchek. Then they had their own series Sons of Thunder.

The television guide that comes with our local newspaper calls this one --- CSI:Miami meets Desperate Housewives! Sounds good to me.

Well what did everyone think about the episode. I was surprised to see Eric back so soon but then again that's Miami for ya. At least he admitted there near the end he had come back to soon. Wow, the Dr. ending the patients lives. Hmmm didn't see that one coming. The boyfriend/girlfriend keeping each others secrets. Hmmm. I was sooooo glad Marco wasn't a bad guy on here. Not use to seeing him play bad man. LOL All in all it was pretty good. Horatio looked wonderful also.

Eric is a little slow like they said he might be in the hospital, but I didn't get the mistake he made. What happened?

It was back to the basics for a change. Murder and mayhem (and hank-panky) in an upscale Miami neighborhood. No international intrigue and that was a relief. My paper's tv guide was right --- it was CSI:Miami meets Desperate Housewives. Some of the characters even resembled charaters from that show. Of course we had the Miami unexpected twist when the teenager was intimate with both mother and daughter. I was glad Delko had a limited role and that evidence of his injury is still with him --- at least the brain injury is, as I did not see any sign of a limp from the leg wound. His error horrified him and his realization that he is not fully recovered was well done. I think we'll see a bit more of this struggle but it won't drag on for too long. Calleigh was firm in a caring way with him. Right on target, I'd say. I like the dynamics between those two.
The doctor seriel killer was not farfetched to those people who live near Columbus, O. or Indianapolis, Ind. This plot was right out of our past. It was Cols. detectives that put the pieces together when too many patients died. The doctor in question had left Indy and was found starting over somewhere in the Northeast section of the country. Big story about 10 years back. I liked the actor's smugness and arrogance as it was just what Horatio needed to make him determined to look deeper. H seems to really enjoy pulling down the bigshot. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" is an appropriate adage here.
Of course, we got our tender moments between Horatio and the deceased Mrs. Clark's daughter. The graveyard's becoming a regular set around CSI:M! The young woman who portrayed her was just perfect. The smile she and H shared in the cemetery was powerful as was the photography. It just took my breath away! The ending focused more on her than Horatio (except where he walked to the Hummer) and I also do not recall Horatio pulling his gun, or doing too much with his shades. Are things beginning to change a bit here? Music played an important part in this episode, too. I was very well satisfied with everything. Even Ryan and Eric being a bit testy with each other seemed appropriate. Frank, Natalia, and Alexx were reliable and dependable as usual. I do get a touch verbose with these recaps --- hope you all don't mind.

We don't mind ohiogranny, since you are really spot on with your reviews.. here are my two cents.. When I first saw Eric back, I was like ......you gotta be kidding me.....later when I saw the subtle changes in his talking and moving ....I thought o.k. so they did not completely forget that he was just shot in the head....(even if it is a couple of weeks ago) loved his interaction with Calleigh...perfect... The cases were not really to my liking...although I was glad no terrorists were involved... I would have wished just one scene with H and Eric together....come on...if Eric has a problem...wouldn't he go to his boss? ?? Love the fact that H is smiling more and more (exception of course 'man down')....darn striped shirt is back... okay...all in all.....I'll give it a 8/10 (after the two-parter which was in my book a 11/10 lol) Chris

I really enjoyed the eppy since there were no terrorists. I loved the interaction between Horatio and the daughter of the woman who got her mother's bracelet back. Horatio is such a compassionate person for attending the gravesite with Mrs Clarke's daughter. He is so warm and loving.
That doctor made me sick. What a nutcase!!
I think the mistake Eric made was mixing up his liquids in his kit, the H20 and H202 were not in their proper order in his kit which made a false positive reading and thus created a foil in the case results. But having Eric realize his mistake shows he is human and took responsibility and even cracked the case in the end. Good for Eric!
I figured it out that the babysitter's boyfriend was sleeping with the mother. I didn't like him from the get go. But the rich and restless in the upscale neighbourhood of Miami shows they have more problems than we do.
Looking forward to next week now. Have a great week ladies. See you again soon

I am glad they portrayed Eric coming back slowly from death's door and being slow and making mistakes. I am sure that as time goes by, he will get his strenght back. Cant wait to see how the rest of the season will play out.

I enjoyed it - I'll admit it wasn't one of my favourite episodes ever, but good nonetheless. I agree, it was nice to get back to basics for an episode - no international smuggling/saving the world for once, just finding out whodunnit and why. I certainly don't think the doctor serial killer storyline was farfetched - Harold Shipman was a GP here in England and he was thought to have killed at least 200 patients over his career! It was nice to have Eric admit he'd come back too early, so many shows will have a main character seriously injured and then suddenly they're back to normal again ready for the next epi. - the make-up dept did a nice job with the scar! + I'm liking the shorter hair! Eric is a little slow like they said he might be in the hospital, but I didn't get the mistake he made. What happened? The test for blood (the Kastle-Meyer test) requires the solvents to be applied in a particular order to test for the presence of blood, Eric mixed up his water and hydrogen peroxide (the hydrogen peroxide should be applied last not first.) The mix up meant that he got a false negative when really the daughter's hands should have given a positive result. (I looked it up a while ago for a fanfic I'm in the process of writing - all hail Wikipedia!)
