Oh My......I am sorry Lucy.........but, I had this one made already.......I was bound to follow up on Karen and Sandra.....but, funny we both picked Michael Phelps for Karen....... That horse one is lovely, but who is the rider? Margaret I also thought it would be okay to bring in an old one from the Patriot Theme......this one is for Karen.

@lucy: I've always loved horse-riding and I also love the WP. Curious who the jockey is.... ? @margaret: lovely one with Michal and Pieter. Look at them both and you have to admit Pieter looks way better, don't you think? The 2nd one may be an "oldie", but it fits in here very well.... Sandra

Sure he is........no doubt about that......that was why I was only comparing Michael and Pieter......If DC is "in competition" as well, the others would never stand a chance..... Sandra

I love the swim wp too Lucy! I prefer David over them both! Great idea! The horse racing wp is very topical too as we are in the height of our season here with the Melbourne Cup run yesterday! It's the race that stops our nation, literally.

Melbourne Cup! I forgot it was yesterday, though the best horse in that race for me was always Pharlap... Ok.. So you're wondering about my sportstars? Well, for me, the horses are the stars, though they do need a jockey to get around a track... The grey horse is Desert Orchid and the bay is the legendary Red Rum and his jockey Brian Fletcher. Red Rum won the Grand National Steeplechase three times and was second twice - no other horse has ever done this. Desert Orchid is well known in Britain for winning the King George VI Chase 4 times and the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Both have now passed away, but they'll always be in my memories of racing. Lucy

Thanks Lucy......now you mention them, I should have recognised both the horses. At the time I was wondering who the rider was, didn't recognise him at all. Now I know. Margaret

Ah --Horatio at "The Shoe" with Brutus Buckeye. Every good fan needs to know the following words to the fight song, Horario, so learn them well. I'll test you on them next week! Perhaps Brutus will help you.
Fight the team across the field, show them Ohio's here; Set the earth reverberating with a mighty cheer (Rah,Rah, Rah) Hit them hard the harder they fall, never let that team get the ball; Hail, hail the gang's all here so let's win that old conference now!
GO BUCKEYES!

Now Gonsy, how is this for coincidence......so strange we all picked the same two swimmers. Great work Gonsy, love your ideas. So it looks like betweeen me, you, and Lucy we found quite a few pictures of the swimmers. That was fun.

I am very happy as everyone really dove off the high-board here. Yes, it's funny the same swimmers were used, but we had Caruso show up from two movies and some candids not seen here before. Thanks for all your efforts.

Wonderful job, Gonsy..........Well....I mentioned Pieter, so not really a surprise here, but that you all choose Michael Phelps to please Karen....that's a coincidence, I guess..... @karen: of course we never saw the candids here before, because they are usually not allowed to be posted....but they DO fit in here very well, don't you think?
