Lindy, the way you've got things divided up is great! Good job!
I already have 2 autographed photo's, and 2 of the talking birthday cards.
So don't worry about giving me one of those.
I am more than content with the bobblehead.
I will treat it like a prized prized possession will give it pride of place in my house so everyone can ask how I got it and I will be proud to tell them about "Lindy's great idea!" I will even go purchase something to put it in or over it so it doesn't get dusty. I will pm my address to you.
I'm with Sandra, you keep the belt buckle. It only seems right since there was only one of them. You'll have to take pictures of yourself wearing it.
I'll defenantly be taking pictures of BobbleHead and posting them!

Lindy, I am overwhelmed at being nominated for a BobbleHead and for your comments. I would be thrilled to receive a BobbleHead, to say I would be excited would be an enormous understatement, "over the moon, ecstatic, bubbling with happiness, you name it, I feel it. If awarded this gift, it will certainly take pride of place in my home.
I have to say I would like one of the autographed cards as I have nothing with DC's signature on at all, but if this means some one else loses out, then pass this on instead to someone else deserving.
I do have one of the birthday cards.
And there is no question you should keep the beltbuckle, this was your baby, your dream in which you generously included all of us, and your great talent in being able to put it all together. Well done.
I would just like to add that Gonsy really choked me up with her reply, how more generous of nature could you be. Thank you for those words Gonsy, you really are a true member in the spirit of life on this board and you also helped to make me happy today.
So I want you to know how happy I feel, and that if there are not enough gifts for everyone and I can't get one, I will be ok, no problem. Your work and David's feedback it's my gift!

Es ist schwer für mich meine Antwort so in Englisch zu übersetzen damit du es verstehst Lindy, somit mache ich das jetzt in Deutsch und ich hoffe trotzdem du kannst verstehen was ich dir sagen möchte!
Du hattest soviel Arbeit mit dieser DVD und wir alle, ich denke das ich hier für alle sprechen kann, können sehr stolz darauf sein ein Teil davon gewesen zu sein. Für mich selbst war es eine große Ehre und ich freue mich sehr darüber das du eine Antwort von David bekommen hast! Es zeigt doch, das er seine Fans mag!
Lieben Dank auch das du uns hier daran teilhaben lässt, denn das alles ist nicht weniger Arbeit!
Ich für meinen Teil möchte nichts beanspruchen von dem was David dir zukommen ließ, es ist für mich Freude genug zu wissen dabei gewesen zu sein, denn schließlich war ich ja nur ein kleiner Teil in etwas großem und Schönen! Außerdem ist es wunderschön zu wissen das David an uns gedacht hat!

I am thrilled that you chose me to get a bobble-head doll. Now I can take it off my Christmas list where it has been for at least 3 years! Obviously you have put in much careful thought and time in making your decisions and you have done well. But remember David's epithelials are probably all over that stuff. Handle with care!

i am happy with whatever you decide lindy! although, i wouldn't mind an autographed pic as i have never recieved anything like that before but if there's not enough to go around everyone then i don't mind! i was just excited that David replied and that he saw our DVD and recognized us! we all now know that he knows about this site!
i agree with the others, you deserve the belt buckle, you worked hard on this project.
@ margaret - did you get the card from the uk?? if so, where abouts did you get it?? i've never seen any around Lincoln.

Hey Lindy; I agree with the other ladies that you deserve the buckle and bobble head. After all you were the one who came up with the idea and made the dvd. And whatever you decide to give to the others; that's ok by me. I already have the birthday card, the button I got from David personally last October. A copy of the card will be fine and if you have enough; a giftcard is always appreciated. But if not; that's OK too. Being a member of this special group of friends means enough to me. Knowing that David knows we are here and the way he reacted is already a reward. So you decide what to do (good luck with that ;D) I will pm you my address. And thanks for everything. Ps: did any of you ladies take a good look at the shirt he's wearing in the home pic?  Nice needle work. Hélène |

Yeah, Lindy, you've chosen wisely. As far as the left-overs, I already have an H birthday card. I bought it for myself some time ago and I like to open it occasionally because it just makes me chuckle. But if you want to send me a second one it would give me the chance to actually use one of them as a card. Definitely keep the belt buckle for yourself. Good grief. Hey Lindy, Umm.... I am speechless!  I must say, I have never seen a more deserving group of people in my life! I have never experienced such caring and generosity and it touches my heart. Lindy, You are amazing and you deserve that belt and much more! I know in my heart David sent it for you!  Wear it with pride my friend, knowing YOU reached the Man! You did it! This was completely your idea and you deserve the credit. You should be very proud to know, it was you who touched his heart! It is very special, and I am sure you will be smiling for the rest of the year! Now... I want to thank you for sharing the joy and pics, and everything with us. Your news and pics and all, will probably have us smiling for the year too! ;D I was ecstatic to hear the news of DC's response to you. Thrilled! It's nice to know he is aware of us all! It's nice to be acknowledge and we have you to thank for that! Okay, I just wish to say I am very proud to be a member of this board, and know all the wonderful people here. We 8 more people who provided portraits (as well as some of the above) so 4 of that 8 could receive a Birthday Card and 4 could receive a HCaine gift card. Then we have 5 badges.... I could toss a coin or we could nominate people. I have no real idea. And we have the belt buckle. Well, to be honest........ ummm. I really Really would like it. And I feel, rightly or wrongly, that it was meant for me. Lindy, I'm really glad that you heard from David and especially with what you recieved from him. I agree with your suggestions as to who gets what. However, putting my two cents in here, I'd be absolutely content with one of the 'badges'. The belt buckle is absolutely fabulous! And I think that you should be the one to keep it. [Even though the cowgirl in me is like... 'please, please, please' haha.] You enjoy it.  |
