For the saftey of myself and everyone else around here, is why I said that. Maybe its paranoia, maybe its just me, but somewhere deep down - something tells me its not him, nor is it anyone who works with him. Thats all I'm saying, and thats what I've known from the beginning.
I havent put him on a pedistool. I havent done it with anyone, that pressure on someone can make them break.

Okay... I think I need to put my two cents up here. I'm not going to stop liking the man or CSI Miami. And all this hype about if it is him or not on his myspace is one of those questions we may never have the answer to. The page says its him.... you can take it or leave it.
Honestly, I'm sorry to see Loretta leave because of a comment I'm guessing...? I don't know... but because of a simple myspace page is not the reason to leave something you care deeply about.
His twitter page has all of two comments on it and while I 'followed' him there I don't expect much from him. I get more twitters from the man that plays Carlisle Cullen in Twilight and Hugh Jackman then David will probably be doing. BOTH of which update their own twitter accounts (Although, there was a statement released by Hugh that said a few of those comments were not updated by him--- it had to do with spelling of certain things in Australia).
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is... don't let all of this Myspace, Facebook and even Twitter get to you.
My thought on it is... its for fun and support of the actor. I've gotten answers from Hugh on various questions but never once did I think that it was him.
And honestly, I actually do see where Courtney is coming from. But its up to the individual person... getting worked up over a myspace account isn't something that I thought that I would ever see here.
Again, I'm honestly sad to see Loretta go and I wish that she would have said more on the lady fans comment as that certainly has me curious.
Thought... has anyone thought of contacting Myspace and Tom in regards to weather its really David or not?

Hmm maybe I'm a little naive right now... but I have followed this thread for some time now and I wonder why you think it's possible that it's not him or at least one of his business partners who had opened the myspace site on his behalf? There is a link on his official Lexicon Digital homepage for this myspace site. So do you believe that he would link the site of some freak who claims to be him? Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense for me. I don't say that it's always DC sitting in front of the computer when we see "him" online or posting a message, but I do believe that it's on his behalf. He surely doesn't have the time to deal with all this things that come with such a promotional site and I also doubt that he has the skills for that anyway.. but therefore he has his business partners. It's really sad that people get so sad about this whole thing that they decide to leave everything behind, but this is everyone's own decision. Jess

It just pisses me off to see Lorretta leave over this, its like saying "ohh I love david" for months and months and months and then BAM because he doesnt reply to you suddenly OMG I hate him.
The reason I dont believe that it is David on Myspace/Facebook is because people are out there to hurt others on those websites, to find people who are weak and are like OH well I just met david, when it probably wasnt really them and then people end up getting hurt. I've had it happen to myself many times, and not by actors but by people I've met online, and its something that has created a paranoia in me.
So theres the reason behind that.
I havent given up on David or CSI: Miami like Laci said over this, and I probably never will.

I have sent messages which are NOT, "I love you" messages. They are all 'have a great break' Happy Fathers day ' etc. Most have appeared. Can I just say that those messages I send from my account don't appear/. Those that did appear i sent through his "send a comment" area on his site. ie log in, go to his site, find the bit whhere it says"Send a Message". Also most of my pics have come up, not neccesarily on the page but as one of the tagged photos if you see "view all". I am quite sure this is DC's site. I agree with Karen, it would be nice to get a nod in this direction. I am not convinced that the personal messages are read (there must be hundreds flowing in constantly). Thanks for giving us the heads-up Krystal re deletion after 14 days. Again, I really don't expect much attention from this site. It is a huge undertaking. Celebs think everyone wants to know about them, not really vice versa. Twitter? Throwing meager crumbs. But having registered at least I know what it is. It is what it is, ain't what it ain't.

Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense for me. Jess my thoughts exactly! if it was just some fraud behind his myspace page, then why would he put the link up on the Lexicon webpage??? i have added him on my facebook as well (info i got from myspace bulletins) it was through his facebook page that i found evan's page (which i sent friend suggestions to some of you guys but couldn't send to everyone because i had a number limit) i have sent a message to DC's myspace page but no answer and have had 2 out of 3 of my comments were approved as have quiet a few of my WP's! i have also tried to talk to him on 'skype' a couple of times but got no response. but as a few of you have said, he probably has 100's of messages etc to go through and probably doesn't read through them all properly! luv sam x

Wow....hope you're not upset over my reply......I didn't say it wasn't on his behalf, I just doubt that he's the one managing it or even the one on the other side of the line. I do believe there are others putting up the updates and pics and so on. With his affirmation probably and, if it is really on his behalf, I'm pretty sure they made "rules" as to what to accept and/or put up and what not. It's just a simple conclusion that most of the messages are the same "you are the best"-kind. I've tried several times to get a "normal" message through on his site and it never happens........it's always the same people and the same kind of words. So for that, I'm done with it. WHICH DOESN'T MEAN I STOP LIKING HIM OR STOP WATCHING THE SHOW OR HIS MOVIES OR WHATEVER! I just stopped going to his MySpace-page every day. As for Loretta, it's her decission and who are we all to judge her over that? Everyone has his or her own reasons to make certain decissions in life and the only one to judge them is The Lord. Sandra

I am sure that David's MySpace is official as it is linked to Lexicon stuff. However it is probably mostly run on his behalf.I don't know how enthusiastic he is about this project-he likes to keep his private life very private,he never makes family announcements and rarely ,if ever, mentions his children's names. He may still have a nasty court case in the offing [hopefully, this is resolved].He also knows how dangerous and damaging the internet can be-we have all seen what can happen when a fan feels rejected and then becomes a stalker. So.I don't think we should expect too much from David's internet presence. He has good reason to be cautious-it would be great if he acknowledged this and other supportive boards but I can understand his reluctance to engage that closely. As it has been said, he is certainly not a saint but he is charismatic and courageous.Just don't expect him to give much away!

Well said, laguna. While I do recognize his reluctance to put anything on the internet during the cyber-stalker days, it had been my hope that once that situation was resolved, he'd let up a bit. And I do think the timing of the MySpace site coming after the arrest of his stalker was not a coincidence. That's why I initially had hope for a more open dialog between him and his fans.
Like sanne, I also still like him and still plan to watch "Miami" but his reputation as a great communicator with his fans is a bit tarnished these days. We can only wish it wasn't so.

I tried chatting with him on myspace but no luck but........that is okay. Maybe he's being cautious. Who can blame him?

Well, David uhm...whats the word... Oh Accepted me as a friend on Facebook, so obviously he still cares about his fans. Its not like he's forgotten about us.
But I have a question for you.
What would we do if we did not have the internet - and all of the ways to openly chat with him?
Would we really be that upset - because I've sent him letters and never got replies. I know some people on here are lucky enough to have gotten replies.
Does that make me think he doesnt care about me? No.
So it's basically the same thing. And how many letters do you think he gets? Probably the same as the messages on Myspace and Facebook.

Think his FaceBook account is the same as his MySpace: someone else is taking care of it on his behalf, so I guess one shouldn't expect Mr. Caruso to see all the requests and messages and all that. And as for the "openly chats", as far as I understand no-one has been able to chat with him directly, as he never answers when he's listed being "online"......which brings the question up why to go online and make such a promotion for the "live chat", if you don't answer the instant messages anyway Again....I think because it's someone else who's managing the page on Mr. Caruso's behalf. Or he checks in occasionally to see what is up but not to respond directly. If he did that, many would be outraged. Were it me, I would arrange an organized IM time rather than ad hoc interactions. As I have said, we don't really think DC has the time to sit about reading and responding to every comment on his sites do we? And then sorting out technical issues and errors as well? Lol! I believe it is his team who do this with him making occasional contributions. His team will be wanting fans to adopt whatever it Lexicon will offer so this is, partially aimed at least at bringing the fans along to the next venture.
I should say that when I sent the DVD on 1st June, it was to arrive mid June. David was away from 12th June all the way to 3rd July. So if it did arrive, he has had little time to collect it. i haven't received any receipt but will follow it up next week.

This has brought out a multitude of opinions hasn't it . Personally I believe we should all just take it at face value we are never going to be 100% sure it is or isn't DC . For myself I am slightly sceptical FB I don't believe is true as there are 2 or more both claiming to be DCs ...but myspace I do think is authentic but being used as a marketing tool for Lexicon nothing wrong with that ... Personally I don't like any of the sites like FB or myspace but that's just me and a few of my colleagues who have experienced problems on both FB and myspace due to a false site being set up pertaining to be us and causing megga problems . I feel as long as we keep an open mind and just carry on following DC as we have always done things will be fine. I have followed David for so long now I am not about to let things that are beyond my control put a stop to it Take care all maggie
