List of planned challenges taking us up to the middle of June. I have tried to mix these up in such a way that there is definite variety from one to the other. My personal comments follow the list.
1.Saturday 31st. January to Friday 6th February 2009 Horatio and stained glass windows or mandala backgrounds.
2.Saturday 7th February to Saturday14th February DC / Valentines week. Have taken this week from Saturday to Saturday for obvious reasons.
3. Sunday 15th February to Friday 6th March 2009 Horatio / “Patriot theme” country of choice.(3 weeks)
4. Saturday 7th March to Friday 20th March 2009 DC Movies (2weeks)
5. Saturday 21st March to Friday 27th March 2009 Horatio/Gothic Theme
6.Saturday 28th March to Friday 3rd 2009 April DC/Funny Faces
7.Saturday 4th April to Friday 10th April 2009 DC/Spring including Easter.
8.Saturday 11th April to Friday 24th April 2009 DC/ Posters ( 2weeks)
9.Saturday 25th April to Friday 8th May 2009 DC/Movies. ( 2weeks)
10.Saturday 9th May to Friday 15th May 2009 DC wearing a Blue Shirt
11. Saturday 16th May to Friday 22nd May 2009 Horatio and Cellphone

Rather than make any comments I have next to each challenge and thus make the list untidy I have written these below in order that the challenges are listed.
1. Gonsy’s idea….I have said Horatio rather than DC for this one....my reasoning being that we all know how some of his faces will so suit these backgrounds.
2. Karen’s idea supported by Sandra and Sam. Obviously what you do here as in any challenge is down to what you want to do and I know that Calleigh and Yelina will be major factors here from some of you…..but remember DC had relationships with various women in his films and NYPD so perhaps some of us will use them as well……You don’t have to…. merely making a suggestion.
3. Horatio and Patriot theme suggested by Karen…….each of us to contribute the country of our choice……As we all know CSI Miami is a global phenomena and this will therefore allow us to move around the world nicely.
@ Sam…..this is where I suggest you can use your Australia Day suggestion.
@ Sandra,….. Your request for Netherlands is noted.
If any supporter would like their country portrayed please let us know and I am sure one of the fanartists will help out here.
4. DC Movies……..this can be a subject as big as we like……at the moment I have split this into two separate challenges of two weeks….any film of your choice. Alternatively, we could do each film independantly…….if you prefer this let me know and I will re arrange the above list.
5. Horatio and Gothic….Ace’s suggestion….Have fun with this and Ace asthe font of all knowledge on this front we expect to see you amongst us for this one.
6. DC and Funny faces . Sam's suggestion…....this should be fun.
7. DC and Spring ( Sam's suggestion)……..have added Easter to this as being a spring event
9. DC and posters……another one of Sam's suggestions, supported by Donna. This challenge is to give you the opportunity to place DC with some other star that you would like to see him appear with given the chance.

11. DC and Blue shirt…….see how many pictures you can find and use of DC wearing a blue shirt……Just to make it harder do not use any Lost Son Pictures…...too easy. ;D Okay….you can use one or two along the way but please don’t use them as major walls.
12. Horatio and the cellphone………..there are loads of pictures to be found here……how about some of you who have a real sense of humour adding some captions on these.
13.I had this idea even before I posted Manhattan ManHunt caps……..as a change from seeing Calleigh and Yelina and as Horatio has worked alongside both of them lets pair him up with either Stella from New York or Catherine from Las Vegas. As Horatio was involved in the cross overs I do not think it is out of place to have this challenge. You don’t have to pair him up with either of them just from the two episodes involved ie; Cross Jurisdiction or Manhattan Transfer. You can of course if you want to but there are other pictures out there you can use if you want to.
Gonsy had a recent brilliant idea of using the name of Hotella for Stella and Horatio so I asked her to come up with a name for Catherine and H……and we have between us decided on CathCaine……..so if you add names to your walls in the same way as you do for DuCaine…….please use these names for a bit of fun.
14. CSI Miami Season 7…………Catch up time….the season will be well and truly over in the US and therefore plenty of pictures are to be found….either on other sites or as a result of Emily’s caps that she has posted along the way.
@ Donna I have not ignored your request for season 6 but, we only did that in the latter part of last year and I feel it is just a bit early to repeat at this time.
We will re visit seasons 1-6 in the latter half of this year.
If anyone is unhappy with any of this can you please let me know as soon as possible so that I can make adjustments to the list. I will now ask Krystal to Lock the last thread and at the same time ask her to stick this one at the top of the Fanart Section in the same way as she did the last one.
Just to finish with can I gently say that if anyone uses caps other than their own it is polite and courteous to thank them at the time you post your walls. Whilst all of those who post caps are very willing to share which is why they post in the first place a little bit of appreciation goes a long way. Over the last few months an extensive range of caps have been posted and although I can mostly take my own there are definately some caps that are not available to me without the input from a number of our members. Especially, on the movie theme.
Just one last thing from me.....as a Teaser we will start the second half of the year with JOHN KELLY.
