Episode 10. OSCAR, MEYER, WEINER The detectives investigate the brutal murder of an upper class family. Lastarza orders Janice to cooperate with the mob though it results in the death of the person whose plates she ran through the computer. Kelly deals with his relationship with Janice as she tries to keep him out of her current situation. Sipowicz takes the statement of a gay writer whose Academy Award was stolen. JK talking to a witness at the scene of the brutal murder. John Kelly....talking to Janice.......he is very concerened about her. JK talking to ex wife Laura.......asking her whether their marriage broke up because he did not give her enough room. Laura, telling JK she had been transferred to his department and asking him if he was ok with that. JK went back to the witness.....they had found some loopholes in her story. She had actually sold the plan layout of the dead famil'ys apartment to a drug dealer. JK....has another go at Janice about the trouble she is in and says if she doesn't stop what she is doing he will not be able to help her. As a result of talking to the witness......a suspect is arrested. JK has finally had enough and opens up to Andy. While they are talking.........the LT. walks in to congratulate JK on a job well done, but JK says it was really down to Martinez. This next one is from the epi......just happened to like these three pictures from one of the scenes I have not covered. Margaret

Thank you to all of you.....for all your nice comments and for carrying on supporting this thread. My aim is to continue right the way through all the epi's DC appeared in.........but, what with the ferocity of the recent challenges and creating the new site with HCrazy......this epi was a little longer coming than usual. This is due in part to the fact that I do like to cover as much as each episode as possible ( depending how the brain is working) rather than just a one off wallpaper.
Just a reminder....if you had any doubts.......I want to assure you all that my activities in the fanart section will in no way be reduced because of the new site.....this board and the people on here mean a lot to me.
@tanya...........It makes my day to know that I made yours yesterday.

Nicely done, Margaret. This is one of my favorite NYPD episodes. That last scene with his mother is so poignant; it pulls at the heart strings even today.
