Yes he is. ;D Tell me one thing though. Almost every british celebrity is... well fo the lack of better word(s)... droolworthy. US has two, David Caruso and Johnny Depp. Why is that? Something to do with the air there or what?

@ace: I think at least some of that British "droolworthiness" is due the actors' voices. There is nothing like a British Accent to get the attention of an American woman (Yes, I have seen the movie "Love, Actually"). While Mr. Caruso's voice does not have that British sound, it is equally droolworthy. Johnny Depp? You lost me there, Ace.

My dear Karen, please watch the newest Sweeney Todd, or if you not like that kind of movie watch Finding Neverland or The Libertine. When you have the time, i think you will also see why I like the man so much. Just as much as David ;D. Ace ps. The accent make my knees go weak... I can listen it all day without actually hearing the words. *dreamy sigh*

Oh my........I didn't realise our british men were so popular. Well I always knew Ace favoured them but, you as well Karen.? This is nice to hear......and yes there are some wonderful british accents ( particularly the welsh) but, give me David Caruso any time.

@ace: Actually I have Finding Neverland, Secret Window and Pirates of the Caribbean. I like Depp okay and he does have a nice voice, but DC will have to remain our only "connection". Depp does nothing for me except provide me with some very good movies.
@margaret: Knowing that I am also rather "fixated" on Russel Crowe, who can speak in about any accent he chooses, yes, the British accent has always charmed me, whether spoken by a man or woman. Anthony Hopkins, Hugh Grant, Roger Moore, Michael Caine and so many others know how to use their voices to enhance their performance. I think that our DC has caught on to that, too, and no longer speaks in that "Queens' twang" we hear on NYPD:Blue.
@ace again: I have thought up a great movie sequel, although I suspect it will never get made. The title?? 'Captain Jack Aubury, Master and Commander of the Far Side of the World' Meets Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirate of the Caribbean'! Now that would be some movie, don't you think?

I agree completely on that Karen. that would be one heck of a movie. *giggle*
About voices and british men... there's one above all others. Alan Rickman. *squeeel* I mean if velvet had a voice it should definitely sound like Alan Rickman.

@ace: Indeed, I should not have neglected Alan Rickman --- another connection. And we haven't even tapped the Welsh, Scots, or the Irish!

I am so sorry Ace.......I missed that first one......how could I have done that. Anyway, better late than never so they say. The first one is beautiful but the second one is very striking and yes Alexei was a brilliant Skater.....whether he was quite the best.....not sure.....but I id like him a lot.
