I'd have to say I jumped on the bandwagon late...during the summer between S3 and S4 of Miami. I was stuck at home a lot during that summer, and I found an episode on A&E, and I was hooked. Got completely caught up to speed during those weeks and was so excited when S4 started in the fall. How I could have missed DC on Monday nights for 3 years, I will never know. I never got to watch NYPD Blue--I was far to young to watch that when it aired. Now...I'm desperate to get my hands on the first season.

Hé girls I second that. I never would have met neither of you and have such a great time. Without my mom I wouldn't have been a fan, or a member of this board. Hmm... When I come to think of it: Even though she doesn't agree with the fact that I'm leaving my hubby alone (again) to be in LA, it's her fault. But I'm not going to use that against her, because after all, she did me a huge favor!! Helen

I discovered David in NYPD Blue. Honestly? It was the red hair. Also, I really loved him in Michael Hayes.
Sadly, I haven't seen many of his films.
Then I heard he was being cast as the lead actor in Miami. Needless to say, I was very ecstatic. I think Horatio Caine is the coolest.

I know that I'll end up being banned for stating any other thing than things David, but I can't help but say that i was in love with someone else before Horatio Caine. He was Yugioh's Yami Yugi. When he left ,I thought that there will be no one else like him. Horatio proved me wrong. but not only does he have all the good qualities a person should always have , he is a real person . I can hug him if i got the chance to , he's real, a great person. I guess i broke one of the rules . But if i do get banned , I would like to thank you all for sharing your stories , fictional or non. ,and that i had fun !!

Don't know why you should be banned for admitting you had another hero before you knew H/DC........I've had many "hero's" before, but since I've seen H/DC, I can honestly say no one can ever take his place....... Sandra

Hmmmm....well my good friend told me all about her addiction to Miami and especially to a certain lieutenant named Horatio. I already was a fan of the original CSI so I was very interested in this one. The first epi I ever saw was Extreme. I was like WOAH! And the rest is history... ;D

I already knew him a bit in the early 2000's thanks to an article in a magazine concerning NYPD Blue (which I had not watched yet at this time); the article talked about him a lot, illustrated with pics and I noticed him... I kept him in a corner of my mind. Then, I became a CSI Las Vegas fan and watched the "cross juridictions" episode (I think it was early 2003), I remembered him and found him quite attractive . Some weeks after that, CSI Miami was beginning (spring 2003) ... and I fell "in love"

Good! May I assume that you share our love for JK? I should warn you, though...Watch our for Lucy. JK is 'hers' and she's very protective (even possessive ) of him. We can look but not touch. em
