I like the article cos he is in it but I still don't like the factor that he likes to smoke cigars. But that is just my opinion. Each to their own.

I would not wanna kiss him after he smoked one. EWWWWWWWWWWW. Actually I would not date anyone that smoked ciggies. I have never dated anyone that smoked cigars. I am not sure if smoking cigars is worse than smoking ciggies but I can't stand ciggies (sorry smokers, my ashma can't take that). I could not be around him while he smoked them. I would need to be nebbed and my inhailer.

Agree with you Lian, but I can understand for someone having ashma it's not that pleasant. They feel like their throat is squeezed and sometimes they hardly can get air. My sis-in-law has ashma in a very bad way, so I know a little bit how she experiences it when people are near who do smoke. But again, I personally agree with you completely

As far as I know from my sis-in-law it's even coming up when she's near someone who smokes even if he/she isn't smoking at that time. Somehow the smoke is in the clothes, hair, well just everywhere on and around the person. But I also think it depends on how bad the ashma is. Not everyone who has ashma has it in the same grade and she has a pretty bad grade. Most people having ashma are allergic also, and she has that in a very heavy way too. But she can handle it very well, so no problem. And none of us smokes (my brother quit smoking for her...), so that helps. The only thing is: we have a dog, and with her being allergic, that's not always nice. When she over at our place she often has teary eyes, starts sneezing and more or less short-breathing. And our dog is always outside, he's hardly ever inside the house and certainly not when she is. So you can imagine when she is over at someone where a dog or cat is inside the house..... We never have problems though, right from the beginning we tried to avoid her coming near our dogs, and she deals with it very good, so I have very good contact with her.

Let's make clear that I don't bother either, speaking for myself. But I can understand there are people who do.......again, I'm NOT one of them, I don't care....

I am a smoker.. so I don't mind about the ash-taste in his mouth, if he don't mind about mine. But I understand you who don't smoke, and/or having ashma... I always try to respect non-smokers wishes... even if my "needs" are very strong.

Alright, I am gonna attempt to clarify what I wrote about being around David when he smokes his cigars. Well in all reality I cannot be around smoke. It severly aggravates my ashma and I have had attacks severe enough to have to be nebbed. There was a time in my life where smoke did not bother me but that is a thing of the past now. As for kissing David Caruso after he smokes that is just not attractive to me. The taste would probably gag me. That would not be very polite right? Anyway as for kissing him when he does not smoke I have no problem with that. But then again he did have that sore on his lip during last monday's eppy. (the scene when he was talking to Clavo in front of his bank) What am I to think about that? OKay....I would kiss David if he did not just smoke or have any sores on his lips. LOL. Actually I would not mind just having a conversation with the man. That would be just AWSOME!
