These were all great. And I don't think either that you got carried away, and even if you did... who cares? As long as they are this awesome. Ace

What a great challenge this was; everyone did such a splendid job. As a final "button" to our Halloween theme, I would like to ask a question keeping in mind that I know absolutely nothing about how Europeans celebrate the end of October: American children go "Trick or Treating" --- What I want to know is "What is the worst thing you ever found in your treat container?"

Karen: My answer is "Nothing" . Never had a treat container. Halloween was never celebrated in my younger life.....nor in my sons' for that matter .But, over the last decade, maybe longer, it seems to have taken off big time. Halloween bits and pieces in the shops everywhere......and in the local supermarkets. But, I would be surprised if any kids knocked on our door.......we live in a quiet road.......no children in the road at all at the moment.......we have only had one kid knock on our door since we moved here some 22 years ago. Sad, isn't it? Mind you, as it is mostly retired people live here the kids probably think we are a load of old witches anyway. ;D Margaret NB: To all of you...thank you for your comments.

Well, if I got this in my treat bag now, I'd be very content, but when I was a kid I think getting an apple was the worst! Sometimes we'd get change too but nothing you could do anything with except put in the piggy bank.
And candy corn. I hate candy corn. Taste and texture. Any flavor. Ewww!

Hcrazy: These are wonderful, or should I say scary? Thanks to all Fanartists for a wonderful challenge. And a special thank you to Gonsy for her 1st "out in the open"-appearance as a FanArtist, great job. And of course thanks to Margaret for guiding and encouraging Gonsy, think you made another WP-addict ;D ;D. @karen: over here Halloween isn't celebrated really big scale. It's starting now at sportsclubs and schools to organise Halloween-parties, but the "trick-or-treating" as is done in the USA (and Canada?), isn't a common thing over here.....not yet..... Sandra

Great walls. Funny and spooky. In Finland Halloween hasn't been a big thing at all. But like Margaret said, in the last decade Halloween has become something that some of us celebrate. We do not go trick or treating. We usually just party with friends and get drunk as we watch horror movies. But what do the children do, I have absolutely no idea. . Ace

@ Hcrazy, these are terrific! Funny and spooky at the same time! @ Sandra, thanks pal, I'm blushing now... @ Karen, I have to say "nothing" too, "trick-or-treating" isn't a common thing in Spain as well. Here Halloween is "All Saints" or "Dead's day" and we celebrate "La Castanyada" (we could say the "chestnut party" ;D) the tradition is roasting and eating chestnuts, sweet potatos and little pies called "panellets": Gonsy

The Simpsons generation of young Aussies have brought Trick or Treat here over the last few years. Already had my first visitors! Perhaps next year I will leave a pumpkin on the doorstep.
HCrazy, they are great walls. SOoo funny!

HCrazy.......these last ones of yours are fabulous......so funny and yet scary. Thank you.
@ Karen: With the right question we can even have a discussion in the fanart section. A question well asked. Thank you.

Glad you like the question, but I thought perhaps our site was too international for it. Apples and pennies were bummers for me, too, and so was the toothbrush the local dentist passed out. Guess he didn't want his chair to fill up with kids needing fillings.
Karen
P. S. So Phil would steal a pumpkin. eh? Somehow that does not surprise me. Bet he wants to smash it in the street! Good one, HCrazy.
