I hope I am not boring you but as we are short of new information at the moment thought I would keep this thread going with another snippet. This time from my daily paper commenting in the TV section. I forgive the comment about Horatio being ginger because it is said in a nice way..........and I agree with the comment about CSI:Miami could not continue without Horatio. The third paragraph is amusing.
SURVIVOR.... Is Horatio Caine back?
HORATIO Caine is dead! If you believe that, you'll believe anything. We might have seen him gunned down at the end of series six, and series seven opens tonight with him lying face down in a pool of blood on the tarmac but does anyone seriously think CSI: Miami could possibly continue without it's talismanic ginger hero?
The title of this episode, Resurrection, should be a clue.
There is, of course, a plausible reason for why Horatio is still alive. Although "plausible" is a relative term and you have to bear in mind that in CSI, female characters think it is quite "plausible" to wear leopard-skin high heels, a designer dress and full jewellery for a secret meeting in a swamp, as one does tonight. When the team gets over its shock about Horatio, they're busy trying to rid Miami of a special type of bullet that penetrates bullet-proof glass and body armour. Even so, a bullet hasn't yet been invented that can kill Horatio Caine......

That was a fun read. I liked how the writer poked fun at the ridiculous aspects of the series with good humor and without rancor. We do not watch this series because the plots are finely crafted and the people dress sensibly for their job. We watch to see Horatio on the prowl, Horatio being compassionate to someone, Horatio in the lab, Horatio . . .Horatio. . .Horatio. But I could be wrong.
