I actually think that this season has been superb. I can't find a weak link. Each episode has been strong in its own way. Last night's, to me, was just solid, through and through. Good guest stars, good editing, nice music choices, and a good closing. It's been a while since we've seen one end like that. Was it a THRILLING episode? Not really, but it didn't need to be. As I said before, it wasn't a character-centric episode. We've already had SEVERAL of those this season, so just having a straight up case-centric episode was a nice change. We'll get back to the character driven episodes soon, I'm sure.

@ Em......okay to your question...............although not having a chance to see season 7 yet it will be more questions than input from me.
@ Cassity...... I would also like to know the answer to the question Em has asked you.

Repost Probably the one where he couldnt find evidence to keep kyle out of jail in the car, and then eric found it. ^.^
Or the one with the Russians. I loved the ending, ahh that smile Horatio had on his face was awesome. Or the one with the kid he brought back to his dad after the mom commited murder.
I dont know. This season just hasnt perked to what all the hype was about...
But thats just my opinion.

Okay so this is it for this week. One hour of pleasant entertainment is what we had this week. The city of Miami was really the star. So many good visuals makes one wish more episodes would be shot at this location. I loved Horatio's comeback "They are not in Kansas anymore" --- it was so unexpected.
Regarding the prank: I really thought it was nice to see Ryan and Eric in kahoots. Of course Ryan stayed true to form by beating Eric to the apology when things went bad. But it is my understanding that the M. E. got her revenge by nailing Eric's locker shut. We did not get to see that --- what a shame!
I really was not prepared for who did it. I thought it was the bald-headed guy. And how very unusual it was to see the "perp" get walked through mugshots, fingerprinting and processing. The music was appropriate to the scene.
One question though --- I wonder what Horatio did with that ring?
Calleigh was front stage, center again. Must be something in her contract or a case of the squeaky wheel is getting the oil.
For those of us who are tired of big explosives every week, this was a nice change of pace.
@cassity: I am surprised that you are still giving "Miami" a try. I have checked your comments on all of the episodes this year and you have disliked all but one show. Maybe it is time for you to watch Boston Legal instead. It's a hoot most of the time with some very good monologues thrown in for good measure. I really hate for you to spend your time hoping for a smile from Horatio or an injury to him. I think that is what makes the difference between a good episode for you and one that is just "ho-hum." But to each his own. I guess I'd just like to read some valid reasons why the story did not work for you.

So if I understand correctly: all in all a nice epi, not outstanding, no "fireworks", but a well-written plotline.......And to know how long we have to wait for this to air over here........ Thnx ladies, for your comments. Sandra

Its not that i'm not into CSI Miami and I'm not looking into Horatio getting hurt as much anymore
Its just.. I wish there was more Horatio....
It seems he's faded into the backround this season, i mean the premire was rediculously stupid...
He faked his own death >.> Horatio wouldnt do that.
Secondly, The whole thing with Kyle and Julia..
Where did they go, its so unconsistant this season that its obnoxious...
I'm in love with the show dont get me wrong...
I just... this season isnt like my favorite one.

I found the episode to be great. And I think that Lucy Lawless did an excellent job. However, was she playing both parts the one of the 'Madame' if you will and of the housewife turned prostitute? I found the resemblence to be a little spooky. :\
As for next week, its really the one I'm looking forward to. ;D Is it next week? I read that next week was a repeat... maybe they have their information worng. Hrmmm...

I actually enjoyed this episode. It kinda felt like the old episodes. The ones without the huge drama and such. I do miss the oldish episodes where they focus more on the case than on eachother. Ya know?
My mom and me kinda things that there might be too much technology in the show now, a lot more than usual. But that's alright, it's CSI Miami.
Anyway, this season is really good so far. H back in the lab coat (even though there isn't a lot of him recently) but that's okay. They are still doing good. Overall, I thought it was a pretty nice episode. =)

If your mom thinks that Miami has too much technology in the lab she should see APD's crime lab. We're the only one's in the country with an offical CSI course for civilians and college students as well.

Lol. It's not really that there is TOO much technology, I think it's just that its...kinda a little unreal. Is there actually tech like that? I'd like to know =)
But still, I love this season!

Yes, actually there is. Though, I'm not sure about the sliding computer thing that they have. I don't think that any lab in the country has that. The rest of the machinery, pretty much.

Yes, the computer technology is real. Search the internet for Microsoft Surface. It's surface technology (Ryan even mentions it by name in s6) and while it won't be hitting regular markets for a little while still, it IS out there and it's coming. Dun dun dun.... em

Dun dun dun.... em Em, That's right! Ryan did mention it in season 6. And I wonder just how many labs will have it by the time it does come out. But I do think that Albuquerque may be among them with how many toys they already have.
