Thanks for the article. It's an interesting read. Wonder if people will be able to buy stock in the company or if the investors have deep enough pockets that they can finance this venture by themselves. Sounds vague but promising.

I have been in the IT field since 95. Now that I am earning my bachlars in Computer Forensics I am getting exposed to all the new technology dealing with not only computers but alternative data storage (ie cell phones, PDA's, Ipods, pretty much anything that stores data and is portable, you should see the tiny portable harddrives they have now)...anyway I consider myself pretty informed with what is going on out there and my take on what little information that was released about Caruso's venture is this....
I think...or rather my best educated guess is that this company is going to be competative with on demand video either live (like the MBA venture thing) or repository of video, using Microsoft SilverLight to play them. Anyway how many of you out there have tried to access a video and it had asked you to download Silverlight. Been getting that a lot lately and to be honest I have not downloaded it yet.
I admit I am somewhat uncomfortable with how sucessful this will be but I do wish these people the best of luck with their business. (video business?)

I don't know if this was on the site before, but I just noticed this and thought I'd share. On the home page at LEXICON there is a button that says "The Company" you click on that and it gives a little bit of information on all three of the founders. It's cool. But if it's been there all along, which it very well could have been, don't mind this message. Just chalk it up to me being, uhmmmm, air headed.... ;D

I've watched this several times now and don't understand it any better than I did the first time I saw it. It's a competitive market and I can see the need to be vague because of that, but David is as good at doubletalk as a politician ---- seems to me he said a lot without actually saying anything! Apparently the National Basketball Assoc. has jumped on board but like nearly everything else Mr. Caruso talks about, we're back to that "wait and see" mode.

Agree Karen....he would be a great politician......I've seen it before (it's posted somewhere in the "what's new" section, I believe). But it's nice anyway to see it again, even though he doesn't actually SAY anything, it's great to hear his voice..... Sandra

Yes, that voice is awesome and his casualness and sense of fun is there as well. I guess that is actually why I have watched it several times!
